One of your lorries was blocking a busy pavement during rush hour near primary schools on a main road today. Instead of stopping the loading arm (it was a grabber arm taking stuff from a garden and loading it on the lorry bed) to help me pass safely on the pavement the worker dismissively waved me into the road with cars. I had a near miss with a vehicle (I am sight impaired). I spoke to the worker after I had walked round the lorry in the road and said it wasn’t safe. He shrugged and looked away. I called the company to advise that there was no safe pathway for pedestrians and I was told someone would call me back but no one did. The attitude of the workers was poor. The one standing on the back of the lorry bed with the loading arm saw me and ignored me and carried on loading and the other standing on the pavement was dismissive. It would have only taken a moment for them to be polite and let me walk safely on the pavement. Photo is taken from me having walked past the vehicle in the road.
