I would like to say a BIG thank you to the recycling men who collect every fortnightly on a Wednesday. I manage a Retirement Development and was aware they were going on strike. At our Development, we have a Communal Refuse Room where recycling mounts up very quickly and if they get too full, can fall out of bins, meaning a possible trip hazard to residents. I was concerned there would be no collections for a while, so was pleasantly surprised when they arrived today. I am very thankful to those who choose not to strike, so that they can continue to provide a good service to customers which they do consistently. We are all very thankful.

terrible council, very bad website, buggy and outdated. our tax money is wasted. potholes everywhere rubbish colleciton every two weeks! they focus their efforts on pointless things like cutting grass patches that are in nobody's way! whilst leaving their outdated website unfixed!

I paid for two garden waste bins to be emptied and they keep emptying just one. I spoke to a representative and she assured and promised me that it would not happen again. I am very disappointed with this service.

Wait times to get through are diabolical, no indication of wait time after an hour and no indication of queue position.
Fail to even update you on your housing application.
I bet if someone owed them 10 grand for rent arrears and wanted to pay they’d quickly pick the phone up then . Doss pot
I will now have to take my application to the ombudsman. Let them deal with it fairly and impartially.

Our bins were missed during collection on Tuesday. On Wednesday I emailed the complaints team at the Council to ask why they had been missed and to ask for arrangements to be made for their collection. I fully expected to wait a week, maybe get an apology but still to have to wait 2 weeks for the next collection. However, I had a response by Thursday apologising and asking me to put the bins back out for collection on Friday. They were collected as advised. Great service and hugely exceeded expectations formed from previous dealings with councils!

The worst council in the world. The trick you to thinking there helping but there not. My circumstances for my banding I have to become homeless to keep my banding as if I find any way to help myself I lose my position in the list which is disgusting, how is that helping people your purposely making people homeless just to put them in hostels and get them off the list. Not only that I have friends in Wales who still use the old way for housing g and there way is so much better still not the best but better than here its appouling. I'm going to social media and making everything public on what they are doing as they neglect peoples cases and trick people into vulnerable situations to get them off the list. Not only that important documentation takes several months to sort out just to even get you in the right banding.

I needed to renew a parking pass for Berguette’s Car Park in Esher. This had been problematic and time consuming in previous years but not this one. When I phoned to explain my requirements I found myself talking to a friendly and efficient member of the team who was able to process my renewal immediately once I’d submitted my form. I was amazed at how quickly this came and feel that Elmbridge Council has really upped its game.
