Booked a car to scrap they agreed a price online after I put full registration number took car on recovery and they said they don't take hybrid cars after they sent me a confirmation for scraping a hybrid with them called head office on 11th December to speak management they said that they will call back within two days still waiting a month later very unprofessional

Waste of time. Told I needed to open an account online, even though I'm stood there with all the necessary ID, I couldn't open one onsite. Filled in all my info online, came up "sorry there's a problem". So you can't open an account either onsite or online. I just want to tat some cable, I'm not applying for a mortgage.

The cleanest scrap yard in Birmingham. Friendly staff, efficient and easy to use, don't bother going anywhere else, only use EMR.

The place is a complete mess, only been twice and both times had a puncture. They are a little anal on H&S. they won’t let you sweep the mess of the sheet on the trailer but will let you drive out with scrap metal on top of it. As with most places H&S is very inconsistent

Clean yard good prices duddeston mill side always fast in and out good size yard. Lads are always good and helpful. Top non ferrous prices in the area too.

Used to use the Smethwick depot (before covid temporarily closed it) but found this one much better. Easier access, cleaner yard, and great staff.
Edit: EMR Smethwick is much better now they changed it around a bit
