EMR Gloucester

I am very much an ad-hoc visitor to EMR Gloucester so the way things work there are relatively unfamiliar to me. Luckily the staff there are unconditionally pleasant, patient and helpful in leading and supporting me through the process. Good prices and the money in my bank account early the following morning. Thank you guys.

Hi guys!my feedback is very bad? for the EMR Gloucester staff!my job is to traveling and looking for scrap metal on the streets. After I was working hard for 3days and spending fuel searching for scrap metal I managed to load my van with 940kg of scrap metal which about 200 kg was mix metal and about 740 was only heavy metal.after I unloading my van i find out that the arrogance and unprofessionalism of the EMR Gloucester employee was very disgusting,I can believe they pay me the lowest price of scrap metal. for 940kg I took 122£ after I spanding 140£ on 3days looking for scrap metal.i will never ever go there in my live

Very useful scrap recycling centre. Service was a bit slow but apparently Friday is their busiest day, so best pick a different day if you can.

An absolute disgrace. I decided to try EMR as a potential new business proposition and tried the Gloucester branch out by taking a set of 5 alloy wheels and some other aluminium pieces. I turned up with my 2 year old fast asleep in the car and was told that I had to get off the premises because of my son. This was around 11:20am on a Saturday morning. Ok, rules are rules... I turned around and took my son home and drove back to do as requested. I turned up at 11:43am and was told by the staff (very abruptly) that they'd closed. When I pointed out that the website stated that they were open until 12pm they replied that they finished at 11:45am and it was tough. I spoke to the office staff who had asked me to leave the premises just 23 minutes earlier and he wasn't interested. A complete waste of time and space. A wasted morning and obviously they won't be receiving my trade. I'll continue to use my existing recycling centre for my business of waste aluminium... which is a lot more than a set of alloys as I run an aluminium/steel stocking company. I would avoid this business at all costs and look to other recycling centers who are actually interested in doing business.

I found the young man who weighs the goods to be rude arrogant and completely not helpful the only nice thing about this place was the young lady in reception who was the complete opposite. I took in 17 kg of cans and got 2.00 pounds how ridiculous

It's awful I order a part for my car, it takes one week to get the part. Ones I got the part I took to mechanics to fix it but unfortunately they gave the wrong part. They charge me £50.00 becuase they open the car. Ones I take back to EMR they event not apologies! It water my time and my money the staff were very rude and unprofessional. I will never recommended this place. Please don't go there its just waste of time.

Always a pleasure to deal with the guys at EMR..not only do you get the best deal around, you are always treated well and the staff are always smiling and helpful
