Called yesterday at 1pm and spoke with a representative ( I believe this was Ross) who offered a scrap price for our car. I made full disclosure that the battery would not be included when asked of the car would be whole (alloys would be included). Then, Chris called me later in the day re collection to confirm that this offer their company made could not be honoured as the car is not complete and attempted to offer £20 less for it. Completely poor and false information provided. They also did not check who gave the quote which is would have been clearly on their system. I will not use again as dishonest.

Fantastic service, these guys are the best. Dropped the car off first thing Thursday and the money was in my bank first thing Friday morning. The guys I met were all helpful, very friendly and professional. I would recommend them 100%.

If you're thinking about taking metal to the recycling centre but can't get a convenient appointment time, you might be just as well to take a car load to EMR - and get paid for it too! (once you sign up). Hopefully you'll meet Wayne at the gate and he'll make sure your experience is quick and simple, don't be nervous if it's your first time, he'll explain everything you need to know.
The site is a working yard, so you'll need a hi-vis vest and hardhat for your safety (both available to borrow at the gate) and you may find you're driving over uneven ground with sharps spread around, so please keep an eye out. Take care when reversing into the bays too, I didn't spot the washing machine and almost nudged it with my car!
You probably won't make a fortune on ferrous scrap, but you might make your petrol money back plus enough for a small treat if you take a full car load. I will make more visits for sure, but I'll save up my scrap first.

Took some scrap last Friday 27th I was promised bank transfer payment they said it will be the next day Saturday it didn't happen I am still waiting I will just have cut my losses I've lost the money , a word of warning
