I was book to scrap my car in Wandsworth which took me half an hour drive just to hear that they don't take cars already for weeks.
So they refuse to scrap it and instead sent me to Mitcham which I didn't even have an appointment over there took me another half an hour drive. At Mitcham they told me that they don't take cars on Saturdays so I was distressed, worried and disappointed thinking what a rubbish company as that day was the only day I could scrap my car for various reasons.
I explained to Barbara my situation and unlike the the other branch she understood and helped me trough the process so I am very grateful to Barbara that saved me from a lots of problems and saved the Company image from my negative comments. Well done Barbara and thank you so much once again!!

Had my van of 13 years, 30,000 miles. ULEZ non compliant. First time at this scrap yard. Great service. Very quick and easy. Even got paid for scrapping my van. Bonus. Sad to see it scrapped. 5 star service

EMR Mitcham is a very professional, organised vehicle recycling business. I was dealt by Alex a very efficient young lady, with excellent customer skills. I was scrapping (due to ULEZ) my 7 seater Mercedes KD02ZNR which was in very good condition for its year. Even when I misplaced some of the generated documents, she replaced them without any complaints. The same excellent customer skills were exhibited by their Admin Call Staff.

I recently had a very unpleasant experience at this establishment. The lady at the reception was extremely rude and condescending. She doesn't know how to speak to people in a proper, professional manner and just shouts, making it very hard to understand her. The place itself is confusing, and they are utterly useless when it comes to helping with the next steps. The receptionist's instructions were not helpful at all.

Additionally, I felt that the employees were racist and seemed to have a strong dislike for Black people. This made the experience even more distressing and unacceptable. Overall, a very disappointing and frustrating visit.

I visited EMR Mitcham yesterday. I dropped off my old car to be recycled. I've got to say Everyone from reception to the hard hat employees were amazing! Everyone was so friendly. I'm an anxious person in general but everyone was so kind and helpful...

Dropped of a drive in vw polo today. Never scrapped a running motd car before still that's ulez. Everyone was great and freindly. There was a big delay due to the number of vehicles coming in due to the aforementioned and obviously the team need a lunchbreak. Get there early! No cars after 1400 and they cut of early today due to volume of vehicles.

Safety is key for these guys too which is always overlooked in many scrap Yards!
