Absolutes**t show of a scrapyard, change their prices around and don’t know how to look after a customer. All there interested in is the lorry’s and bigger company’s
To any local scrap man stay well and far away from this place, very messy yard and very unorganised. They ask there customers to put good reviews which tells you everything you need to know about this rubbish company !!!

I now have to come back here for the 2nd time to say how terrible it really is, nothing is done right at this place, no communication. No looking after there customers service is absolutely appalling

Quick load and turn around, good to see the yard is filling with scrap again and business is picking up and returning to normal levels hopefully, as last time I visited it was like the Marie Celeste ?

I’d give Emr zero stars if I could.

Thinking of taking a scrap car into Emr? Think again! You’re quoted a price on their app which changes “with the weight” but it only ever seems to be in Emr’s favour. If your quoted £180 for a vehicle but the database they use gives them a different weight it comes out of your pocket, if the catalytic converter is less than they expect it also gets taken from your pocket.

If you’re not happy with the price difference on the weight it’s tough you’ve lost your car and the money!

When an issue like this gets raised it can be very difficult to get through to the branch directly and the customer service line is appalling and usually left with people who hang up randomly, can’t help with the price or aren’t interested.

Having been a loyal customer to Emr for years, today is the final straw. I won’t take another vehicle to Emr until they learn how to look after the customers that bring the product in instead of ripping them off.

Although this is being looked into at the branch from previous experience higher management just fob it off and your money is just sat in Emr’s bank slightly longer.

If reading this review you find it hard to believe check out on google when Emr were ripping off the local councils with weights etc

Great service. I was running late due to traffic and the gentleman offered to stay and extra 20 mins. I arrived within 10 of them extra.
The guy who done the weighing was moody by not finished at 4pm. Hey I'd love a 4pm finish.
But eventually said sorry for being moody.

I would recommend to use good prices.
And good customer service

It's a scrap yard. Not a huge amount more to say than that.

The staff are friendly, the rates comparable.

They take ferrous, non-ferrous, and cars.
