POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
I requested payment to be done this same day and Charlie lied to me and ignored my request. On previous transaction he had to email his manager to this for him as he's not allowed to do transfers over x amount.
EMR If you don't trust your employees or they could not be bothered to do the job they got paid for, please state clearly information that you don't do this same day transfer on Saturday.
Update
After 6 days and few call my money was paid. Disappointing experience.

Went online for a scrap car valuation and EMR Wandsworth gave the best price. Staff was friendly/ efficient on arrival and situation was sorted within 20minutes. Destruction certificate was given and paid to account within 24hours. Highly recommend.

I use EMR in Wandsworth daily in my line of work, the staff are pretty helpful, they're clued up and know what's going on in their yard. The weighbridge staff are also very good, Renata (who, may I say has a brilliant smile!) and the team are always helpful and have often been a source of information about when we have to take various metals to their yard.

The yard can get busy at times but that's just part of the detail, I use them daily and I've never had to wait so long that it's ever impacted my tacho hours.

Phoned before going there on the bus to take old brass taps and a hoover. They said pedestrian access is illegal under Health and Safety law. I don't believe this and Streetview photo shows a pedestrian sign from the street into the office. Their website says nothing about car owners only, or that WEEE disposal is charged and only for business customers. Just a typical big business attitude, excluding people who want to recycle for the environment. Bring back the old London rag and bone and scrap metal carts. So how do I throw away old brass and a hoover? Lambeth council has restricted its services and dumps with so many conditions they are unusable (booked visits by computer only, never open, no pedestrians, extortionate charges, aggressive staff, etc.). No wonder fly tipping and cowboy waste firms are rife.
UPDATE...now EMR want my email for "more details". My post is clear, and they can verify it by calling their own helpline. They'll get the same call centre and if I was missadvised they're welcome to post a correction. Otherwise dear reader you can assume I'm correct.
