Love going to the tip.... rarely have any issues but today I watched one of the make workers help ( twice) a woman in a large car unload CARDBOARD, and left me a 62 year old granny to unload BRICKS. I even drew attention to me / car as he walked passed. Very disappointed in him tbh, next time I will just ask for help, in the meantime have a word with your staff perhaps.

Full of glass and screws on the floor, don’t think the floor ever gets swept. Can hear glass crunching under your tyres as you drive in. Terrible place

The staff here was very helpful and kind despite being out in the rain. Specifically there was a worker who helped us understand the layout of the dump yard, helped us with where to put items we weren't sure of, and told us how to access containers we couldn't easily see

This lot are hilarious. I have to come here more often than I would like, especially as I’ve acquired an unruly allotment. Come rain or shine, they’re the nicest bunch of people I’ve come across since moving to Bury 8 years ago. They’ve always got some banter going on between them, they’re WAY more helpful than the Great British Public have any right to expect, and they all need pay rises.
Always a friendly smile or a wave, always helpful. The teamwork and banter when someone got their van stuck under the barrier was priceless - on the radio, “Alan, please don’t take this the wrong way but we need you to come down here so we can get some real weight on his suspension…” absolute guffaws of laughter from everyone in earshot.
They’re all absolute comedians, including the chap today who decided I needed to hear a story about a lottery winner and his carrots. Brightened my day no end.

On arrival at the Bury site a member of staff called Alan promptly came over to my car and helped me to unload a rather large amount of broken and grubby wood. I was most grateful for his assistance and friendly chat.

Reviewing the site, it’s a bit of a smaller tip (mainly used Irlam before). But has all the standard features of a tip and nice helpful friendly staff.

Reviewing the route to it. The road esp when not familiar with area, seems to go on forever and has some poor surface to it

I recently visited the recycling centre. I can only say that one of your employees, whom I asked his name which was Alan was extremely helpful, courteous and professional. I can honestly say he is an asset to your Company and made the task a nice experience.

Used the tip on Easter Sunday evening. Absolutely fantastic gentleman named Gaz was very friendly and helped me with all my rubbish Specially the heavy items. More staff like Gaz Please. Give him a promotion ?
