Not a charity shop in the usual sense. It's just a secondhand clothes shop dressed up to look trendy. Good selection of clothes, though.

This is my favourite charity shop in Balham, maybe even SW London! Such high-quality items for affordable, fair prices. It's always well kept and organised, and the team are really friendly and helpful, too.

This is by far my favourite charity shop - I always find something whenever I go in. The staff are always super friendly too - Chloe helped me out during my most recent visit and was so helpful 🙂

Wide selection of clothes in particular, at very fair prices reduced from the original. The shop benefits, one would expect, from its proximity to both the Nappy Valley demographic and Balham's designer kids-clothes shops, from where a significant proportion of the items originate, e.g. Jojo Maman Bebe and Bump to Baby. Small selection of prams/strollers out front, again heavily discounted. Friendly service.

From my experience staff is quite young pleasant and hardworking. My interest - the man's section is each time I am there full of best high street shop brands and more refined rarities. The shop does enjoy hefty amount of donated clothes and I when speaking with staff found they leave in the shop the top pick of what they get further dispersing clothes among other Fara shops as well. Well, Balham I heard is one of 5 best places to live in London - I have not confirmed the detail. The shop even though small has a fine atmosphere and the art pieces, especially paintings do enrich the room. Even if leaving without purchase one does encounter emotional journey of rare garments varying labels at times of sorts script almost. I never found there a pair of shoes I would like yet did purchase on occasion at a bargain price on discount pieces I could not believe have not found buyers to 50% price drop. My most loved like new T- Shirt comes from the Fara Charity Shop and I shall never like it less than unique ikon I matched to my life. Unique it is indeed - the t- shirt - by any one's means.
I would say the charity shop is fine, arty, well staged, has got vintage accent, place of interest signature, it is somewhere to go on a little foot tapping wonder over a still floor and what is more at moments it seems a little theatrics boutique. I do believe management must be good and volunteers - mostly and only to my experience female staff are making sober stern art keep and well mannered good natured atmosphere in focus of relaxation and a jaunt.
Some of the clothes can look rather unsuitable for a gift yet there are always the gems and perfect these are for each present, gift, show, treat, gladness, excitement and big time extravaganza if not a fashionista's daily bread - oh a pink donut is the shop. It is I would recommend to visit with one's mind's open eye and fresh zing of oblivion - a little art gallery like or maybe I simply like it too much. It is not so likely for me to enjoy a rather small room of a charity shop - it is hmm... striking like cosy armchair sit - yet quite open spaced with glamour. It could be where tourists are being sent, these seeking, yet not knowing exactly their aim. The Fara Charity has something unique there in comparison not as much better as special and of character. I congratulate "Fara" Charity on the creation. It is a location indeed. Thank you.

I bought a cot there today. The two ladies working there were quite exceptional in kindness, helpfulness and knowing their stock. I shall certainly be back and will let my friends know (most of us grandparents). The prices are very very fair and the goods in excellent condition. Thank you very much.

I'm been supporting this shop during 3 years and my experience always has been satisfactory.

Today I had the worse of the experience that you can have with one of the desk assistant, a " chubby lady with middle head hair" ( from the east European l guest....). My son feeling interested for one of the toys expoused in the window was stopped for her in the distance with a shout, and after my child feel embarrassed for the situation started to cry. Been not enough for her... she told him literally words "LIFE IS HARD, YOU WILL DISCOVER ONE DAY" with my child on tears and crying she was showing faces to me because of the noise of my crying child.

Hopefully someone responsable of Fara's take actions against this situations to avoid further issues, the staff supposed to be ambassadors of the brand and even more in a charity shop. Hope this rude and chubby lady with ridiculous manners find another job far away of any human treatment specially with kids.

I will try to report this in my next visit to the shop.
