Always found Flusco an excellent facility to use and never had any problems until meeting the tip police bully today. A man who takes great pride in accusing people of putting things in the incorrect skips in a threatening aggressive manner and seems to love nothing more than getting a rise out of someone. Won't be returning any time soon!

I have always found the staff at flusco thoughtful and helpful but today I was very upset by a member of the work team who was very smug ,unnecessarily rude and unprofessional . I was placing a crushed wicker waste bin in the non recycling area which he retrieved thrust back at and said it was actually mixed wood When I asked where that was he pointed and said 80 steps that way .in the hope that he might help I explained the I was recovering from a dislocated hip and was finding the whole process very difficult he retorted that his job was to inform and assist the public ! I was informed but I certainly didn’t get any assistance and at. 75 with a mobility problem it would have been nice if he had been able to take the questionable basket for my instead of just sitting on the wall with his hands in his pockets ! To think I pay council tax for that .

Superb recycling centre....every aspect catered for, immaculately clean and tidy..excellent signage, super helpful and friendly staff. Wish Kendal was the same design...come on W and F...help us help you!

My first visit to this recycling centre so didnt quite know the setup. It's a large site with good signage when you arrive as to what they will accept. One staff member was friendly and helpful. We had things that without his input we would have put in the wrong containers.

Under current restrictions due to Covid-19, only 4 cars can be on site at any time. This means there is an understandable wait whilst cars feed through. The wait can be 20/30 mins. There was 'Security' on the gate entrance during my visit on the 3rd. What a personable, helpful chap! Managed the 'tippers', traffic both ways and still took the time to explain the 'whys and wherefores'! The staff actually in the site were equally cheerful and helpful. Good job chaps!
