A Disappointing Experience at Chris Baker Scrap Yard I visited FMS recovery scarp yard with high hopes of finding a reliable place to offload my scrap materials. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the yard lacked organization and professionalism. The staff at Chris Baker Scrap Yard were unfriendly and unhelpful. They seemed disinterested in assisting customers and were dismissive when I had questions about the pricing and process. It was frustrating to deal with their lack of knowledge and unwillingness to offer any guidance. Moreover, the condition of the yard itself was appalling. The entire place appeared neglected and disorderly. Piles of scrap were scattered haphazardly, Additionally, the lack of proper signage and clear markings further added to the confusion and chaos. Furthermore, I was highly dissatisfied with the pricing I received for my scrap materials. Chris Baker Scrap Yard offered me an extremely low value for the items I brought, despite being aware of the current market rates. It was evident that they were taking advantage of customers by offering unfair compensation for their scrap. once I received my payment I was actually short £15.35, if I had not notice then he would of got away with it. Makes you think who else he has done this too without their knowledge. Overall, my experience at Chris Baker Scrap Yard was incredibly disappointing. The unhelpful staff, disorganized yard, and low pricing made it clear that this establishment lacks professionalism and integrity. I would strongly advise against choosing this scrap yard for your recycling needs, as there are undoubtedly better alternatives available that prioritise customer satisfaction and fairness.

I just wanted to say thank you to fms recovery.I called and they collected my car on the same day. They arrived on time. It was a smooth and easy transaction. Carl was an amazing guy that he was able to me right away my COD (certificate of destruction) as the company is a ATF (authorised treatment facility) registered with the DVLA. They are honest and trustworthy company. Highly recommended. Thank you

Interesting place in the middle of nowhere. Piles of scrap metal and mountains of old smashed cars abound. The guys there are friendly and very helpful. They pay for car, van and leisure batteries. 40p a kilo to be exact. Plus other scrap metal welcome. I took two stars off because of the terrible road you have to drive down to get there. It seriously NEEDS grading.

Quick and easy with great service. They did same day for me. Dvla registered and friendly to boot.

Very good service, hassle free and was conveniently done whilst i was at work, and the cheque was there as soon as i got home. I would highly recommend.

Will not go there ever again rather go to ASM or EMR He does rip you off and take advantage of you in that instance
