I use this company to remove the waste from my business. There have been many issues.
Two stands outs….
They were charging me for excess waste during Lockdown when my business was closed and there was not even any waste to collect. This indicates that it is a common practice for them to do this throughout the year to many businesses. It’s really hard to prove the weights taken from the bin and they themselves were unable to provide me with the weight from each take. Basically they’re steeling money.
Recently they swapped my bin for one with graffiti and a lot of food waste in the bottom. When I requested for a new bin or my old bin they informed me I would be charged £180.

Quite simply the worst business going! We had used these for 15 months with no problems. Then we go 3 weeks without our bins been emptied. The communication was to just keep piling the rubbish up. As you can imagine, this got unbearable! Due to the issue we took out another bin contact, and cancelled with forge.

They now state they have damages (laughable) and we need to pay them £250+ to cancel - despite not collecting for 3 weeks. The inital 12 month contact expired but they auto-roll you into another 12 months at a time!

After my below review it was great to get a call from Forge management team today to resolve the issues and explain the falling downs which happens in business now and then looking forward to working again with my preferred waste removal company in the new year.
Great to see Forge recycling tackling and dealing with problems head on and focusing on customers service and keeping working relationships ?

After using over many projects in Leeds with no problems actually great service This project disaster with waste skips ended costing me money not on time storing waste double handling and taking skip away when not finished.After my conversion on the phone clearly have to much work and couldn't give a monkeys about customer service disappointed to be honest don't know if I will use again on next projects in new year but if I do hopefully be able to give 5 star reviews and recommend them again fingers crossed.

Do not use this company.

A couple of months after signing a contract they introduced a new surcharge that increased our costs by over 20%.

They regularly don't show up for collections without letting you know.

Also because our regular collection day was on a Monday there were many bank holidays where they didn't show up and the contractually required alternative collection never happened.

Also they make cancelling the contract ad difficult as possible to trap you into contract extensions.

Im always against auto renewal as payments can automatically be made and contracts renewed for a full year but sometimes its difficult to remember these dates. But this firm was on another level

Upon realising in mid September that our contract anniversary was due in the first week of December and i wouldn't like to renew, i called them informing them that i wouldnt like to use their service anymore.

I was told over the phone that they wanted 3 months notice before the auto renewal was due in order to not be charged for the whole of next years contract. which is ridiculous!!

So you've automatically signed up for something 3 months before your going to use that service without signing or agreeing to anything with a full cancellation charge for the full 15 months ahead?

If someone overlooks this like i did it, they asked for the full payment for the 12 months after the auto renewal date as i hadnt cancelled 3 moths prior to the december date. They never got it of me ofcourse, but they tried.

Needed a skip delivering to my mother in law's, was a bit worried it wouldn't be left in the right place as we weren't there when it was delivered. Absolutely nothing to worry about our instructions were followed to the letter. Will definitely use again and would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you, you made a stressful time just a little easier for us.

We use Forge Recycling at work, in all of our sites and we are very happy with the service and prices they provide. We do not regret moving away from our previous supplier to Forge. They are very responsive and if there are ever any issues, they are dealt with promptly and to our satisfaction. Great, attentive rep, by the way. We would recommend them.
