Customers appreciate the diverse range of equestrian equipment, garden accessories, and ornaments available at the nursery. The on-site cafe is also a popular spot, offering a variety of cakes and light lunches.

However, some customers have noted that the senior woman working at the nursery can be quite rude, which has impacted the overall rating. This is a great place. It has lots of equestrian equipment but also a good range of garden accessories and ornaments and the prices seemed not over the top. There is a decent little cafe on site which offers a good selection of cakes and light lunches. As another reviewer noted the senior woman is quite rude which is a shame as otherwise it would have been 5 stars. Amazing how many rude people work in the service industry. There is quite a bit of architectural salvage on site which is in my opinion very overpriced.

Stopped on a long cycle ride today, surprised to see cafe open for takeaway...but more importantly it has had a revamp.
Great decking area and lots of picnic tables in grass too. Nice staff too. Looking forward to trying when more available to choose from. Certainly will stop by again soon!

A nice place to get breakfast. Sells every horse accessories you can imagine. Plus a nice pet shop. Not a great selection of plants but a pleasant place to visit 😊

Nice little garden centre, but Pronto bistro is what I go there for . The food is great and it's a fantastic place to eat in side or out

The nursery may be nice but we didn’t get to go in as we ran out of time. We went for Mother’s Day lunch & it was awful. Horrendous service, staff not a clue how to serve people properly, they kept talking behind the counter when there were tables to clear. It took several hours for us to have our lunch. We had to ask when mains were coming at which point they said the chef would START them now. It had been over an hour already at this point. The food was ok but we saw the chef tip out the pudding from a plastic ramekin so we could have just gone home & bought a pack of microwave puddings ourselves, we would’ve got them quicker having left, gone to a shop & made them ourselves anyway. The puddings were served drowning in custard which wasn’t very nice at all. The staff caused a scene when a large booking arrived & they expected them to sit at 3 different tables across the restaurant. They decided to sort the table arrangements and ignore us the entire time. They were not unkind people, it is simply that they’re had clearly had no training or being advised how to be efficient on a busy service. All the staff were young without a clue how to work in hospitality.
To add to this the toilets were not clean or pleasant which stopped some of our party from going. Would not recommend you eat here.

Really great place for all things equestrian as well as a good stocked garden centre. But the best bit is the cafe/restaurant with good food, decent drinks and friendly service. And they welcome dogs!!

A few cycling friends and I stopped there earlier today. First time since the revamp; what an improvement, and on a sunny day (as today), the outside seating area is a massive plus. Not too expensive, nice food, friendly staff and nice facilities. Will go out of our way to return.
