Appointment with Dr Arshad 26/09/2025. First appointment with Dr Arshad, I found him very welcoming and prepared listen in detail to my long term medical condition. Once I had finished he was equally as professional in explaining his diagnosis of my shoulder pain and his plan of action for follow up treatment. Very efficient receiving my referral in just 3 days. It was also good to see a Student Practitioner working alongside Dr Arshad gaining valuable experience from such a professional Doctor. Many Thanks Dean Parry

they wont make me an appointment when i need one. ive been sending emails regards to my problems and id never think it was this hard to be seen by a doctor. additionally, TMI but ive been needing my contraception for about 3 weeks now because i ran out. tell me why they wouldn’t give any to me unless i was seen by a nurse. everywhere else they would be given to me if needed. ive been seen by a nurse every single time. but they do them at boots now so ill just try that out.

I had attended the clinic this afternoon with both of my children, Doctor Arshad was very helpful and listened to me and my children regarding the concerns we had, he was really engaging with them both, and discussed the next steps hopefully the antibiotics that he has prescribed will help.

Dr A Arshad was very helpful, during the appointment he was compassionate and paid close attention towards my condition. He also followed up after my appointment which I felt was very good, thank you 😊

This surgery has definitely deteriorated over the past 12 months . Nobody seems to know what they are doing . The email system is an absolute joke they give different answers to procedures with every person you speak to . I emailed for an appointment after 3.15pm due to work they responded with an appointment at 3 pm . The people answering the emails are incompetent. I’ve spoken to the practise manager about it and yet still nothing changes . You never get to see the longstanding doctors like Pullan or Harris no wonder good doctors have left … They say you can request a particular doctor then another receptionist says you can’t . This email system is NOT working it’s rubbish . I’m seriously looking at changing surgeries as it’s a constant battle

When I used to come visit my Doctors. Before they moved to Furlong Road medical centre it was one of the best doctor's practices in Stoke-on-Trent. The atmosphere was always friendly, from the receptionist to all four doctors. They were all highly competent and took the time to explain the medications they prescribed. It was easy to get in, get treated, and get out quickly. I rarely had to return for follow-up visit, which made it easy for more people to get appointments. My family finds it amusing when I share my positive experiences with them.

Reception are rude and don't seem to know what they're doing. Called up, the lady on reception gave a big sigh down the phone like she couldnt be bothered with me, I've got two different receptionists telling me completely different things regarding a query through email and a receptionist trying to be rude and argue with me over email and basically refusing to give me a telephone appointment! i felt attacked.. just awful. absolutely no communication there clearly. Ridiculous and unprofessional. Some Doctors are rude and dismissive and then when i requested to see a particular doctor which was my main doctor, via email, at first one receptionist said it would be possible and to give reasons to why I want to see them and I did that and then a different receptionist replied to that email and stated they dont allow specific requests anymore, face to face or telephone appointments and its a new system..make up your mind, they seem clueless. I dont understand how that benefits patients especially if patients are say comfortable with only one doctor. Feel like the surgery is just in shambles to be honest. Considering changing doctors because I don't feel listened to there, it's a shame.

They put me on antidepressants. Had lose of issues where they wouldn't give me the prescription. And sending me all over the place to get them. Eventually my chemist rang and said they've now put me on a monthly prescription. Picked it up in October. But now there no record of me picking them up. And they've said I need a review but haven't bothered getting in touch with me to get it booked. So I'm now without my antidepressants after being on them a couple of months
