Great little organic garden with lots to see. It is free to enter. Years ago was the site of the Henry Doubleday Association. If interested in organic garden this coukd be worth a visit, if you have a couple of hours to spare. I enjoyed the visit as a photographer and plan to visit on some of the organised tours.

Fabulous place. Great for families photographers and fresh air. So many varieties of plants and tree's. A play area for kids The Cafe is nice even the outdoor area good coffee ☕ and cake 🍰 I've not tried the Sunday dinner but it's always booked up so that's a good sign. There's so much more to explore than meets the eye.

What has happened to this place? When I worked in the area, I used to regularly visit the garden, shop and cafe I and regularly attended events here. Being in the area today, I decided to forego the lunch and instead come here but what a disappointment. Everything is closed and a lot of it looked derelict. No shop,no cafe, when I finally managed to find someone, they had no more idea what had happened. There was a bell to ring, but no-one replied. It used to be such a warm welcoming place and now nothing.

The Gardens are interesting and so is the ethos, but they shut the shop selling organic produce which was great. The restaurant has also changed, and we did not use it.
