Thought I’d be smart and go early. Arrived at 9am. Took an 1hr10 until I was in. When I joined the queue was at the bus stop, when I left it was by the junction.

It’s well run by the staff, but I wouldn’t have gone if I knew it would take that long.

Also saw a bloke try and get in on bicycle and he got turned away by the staff, so don’t try that.

Earliest booking 5 days ahead is surely not a good service as at 28th October , next slot November 1st . No wonder fly tipping is so prevalent

Staff are good, if you are early, they are considerate and will let you go through if its not busy. On the other hand if you are more than 10 mins late, they will stop you.
Booking a slot is easy but if you rearrange/modify the original appt and later want to cancel the modified appt completely-there is no option. I tried calling the Centre but no one answered the phone. Shame as someone else could have used the appt. They need to correct their computer system.

Anyone who doesn't give 5 stars to this place needs to grow up!! This is a recycling and refuse centre! Not Argos or a Nandos! It does what it does, and we are fortunate to have it. If you want to go further and really get stuck into your recycling, go live in another part of London or the World!! 5 🌟

Just returned from my first visit to Greenford recycling centre. As with all refuse centres, as a first time visit I was a bit confused about where to go (although the signage was very good which was a great start!) however huge shout-out to two gents who both couldn't have been nicer or more helpful when I asked where to go with my items. The second chap even helped take my electricals to the right spot for me as I'd missed it on the way in. Thank you both so much for your help this morning and making my first visit to so smoothly 🙂

Staff are friendly and helpful, but it can get very busy at times. Probably best to avoid Sundays
