The fact that this store still insists on selling the awful ((rodent) glue traps which are responsible for causing the slow and painful deaths of thousands of our wild birds (Robins, Starlings, Sparrows etc) shows just how caring they are. We've approached the store for comment only to be blocked and barred via all avenues including FB, Twitter, etc. The only recourse we're now considering is a peaceful public protest outside the store.

Since the Waitrose in Storrington is quite small, Hanwells is an absolute godsend. I've yet to go in there and not find what I need. On the few occasions I've been there, the chap who has served me has been very helpful. Would recommend.

The lady at the till, smallish lady with short dark hair and glasses was. Try unhelpful, rude and did not smile at anybody. I asked where something was she pointed outside and said at the other end of the store really helpful. Then when I went to the till to pay an older lady said I still can’t find whatever she was looking for to which the staff member said very rudely then we haven’t got any.

Can’t fault the shop for goods but maybe some staff training on customer care, after all without customers they wouldn’t have a job. If she doesn’t like working in your shop maybe she should consider another type of career.

Great place if you need anything. It's like an Amazon shop. It does brands you forgot you even existed. It's a good shop if you have forgotten something and need it quickly. There isn't many shops in storrington so this one is vital for the village. In fact it's the only real ship apart from Waitrose, and it does things Waitrose does not. It's packed to the rafters with stock. Im not sure if you can order stuff or request things but they even have a locksmith in there. It didnt have the key I wanted but it was a rare one.

Great business, stopped in the other day to get a key cut and was surprised at the selection of products they had available. Deffinately worth checking out if your looking for great deals on household essentials, staff were very friendly too👌💯

Hanwells is amazing. Good old fashioned hardware store very reasonably priced. Staff are very nice and always willing to help.
