What can I say first time I’ve shopped in this store and the staff so helpful friendly I’m only on the island for a couple of weeks and first impressions one word fantastic

We had a quick look in this shop and were welcomed by a nice lady who informed us that we were now able to try on any item.
Very impressed by the quality on display.
Returned in a few days when we had more time and my wife tried on a lovely jacket. Unfortunately, the staff on duty at this time could not supply a mirror. As we were both intending to buy jackets to the value of over £200, I would argue that this is a definite prerequisite. A rethink needed! Also, the two female members of staff seemed to be concentrated on another task,and made us feel that we were of a secondary concern. Stunningly, beautiful array of items. Just a shame that the customer service aspect fell way short of expectations. We purchased elsewhere.

Such a pity, had exactly the tweed I was after cut in to 10 inch strips, but would not sell them to me as they were making them into scarves. Im sure they could have cut more. what kind of business turns away custom. Got what I wanted in a lovely shop in Harris.

visited this shop one year ago on an island hopping visit. the staff were extremely helpful as I was buying to make my husband a Harris tweed waistcoat. now having made four I am in need of more material and have just found them online. can't wait to choose and order next pattern

I love this shop, I buy most of the tweed for my small craft business there and could honestly spend hours on end just browsing and putting colours together, all the ladies who work there are just lovely, always there to help you out or just leave you looking if that is what you prefer.

The Harris Tweed Hebrides flagship retail store in Stornoway town centre is undoubtedly the most stylish shop on the island. We can personally testify that this is fact, as we scoured Lewis & Harris in a recent visit to the islands. The shop acts as a showcase for the world-renowned Harris Tweed and quality products which are made from the cloth. Harris Tweed Hebrides are a company at the forefront of the Scottish Textiles and Fashion revolution. In 2013 they scored a hatrick of accolades. In the UK Fashion & Textile Awards Ceremony they picked up both Textile Business of the Year and Manufacturer of the Year. More recently they were named Scotland's Fashion Ambassador of the Year at the Scottish Fashion Awards2013. If you are lucky enough to be heading to Lewis this shop should be the first and last place you visit!
