If I could give less than 1 star I would. You can never get an appointment, when you call, you're on hold for ages, when you finally get through you're told to call back tomorrow. You go online and the only appointments you can book are blood tests or smear tests. What about the rest of that don't require these appointments. It's absolutely shocking. I've started looking at other health care providers in the area as these are a complete waste of time. The people of the area deserve better healthcare than these cowboys.

They stop your prescription just days before you're going to run out. Put on your medical notes await pt to engage.
I went to two surgeries to engage on 5th Nov and told I have to wait a phone call at unknown time. Complaint and received a message guess what no reply is possible.
Still wating call for me PT to engage.
Why is it not possible to have a timed phone call appointment appointment confirmed by text message?

If I could give no star I would. Asked for an appointment on the system after working out which one still works. Requested Pinfold after 4.30. Got a text to say I had an appointment but no information given about when. Phoned the surgery today to be told my call would be answered in 17 mins, after 39 mins I got through and was given an appointment that was somewhere else at at 9.25 . I finally got through and eventually had to ask to speak to a manager as I kept being told no other appointments were available. Vicky, team leader who refused to give her name as she said she didn't have to give me that information finally got my daughter an appointment. It used to be a brilliant doctor's that is being run into the ground.

I'm writing on behalf of my friend and neighbour. She is very partially sighted. She walked down the Methley road to try and get a doctor for a blood test. The receptionist was not much help, who failed to put on the records that my friend couldn't use text or email, and health care first sent her a text which had no chance of seeing. This so called Health care first should be called Health care last. Its damn outrageous how the practice in Methley can call themselves caring for the community. The whole system at Methley us a shambles and and are allowed to get away with it. I myself am a 75 year old women and have found the system is run by idiots and money grabbing bureaucrats need to go away so we can have a better run system. I'm so angry the way my 75 year old friend was treated. She struggles and trys her hardest to do mist things even though her sight is only very poor.
DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS BEFORE SOMEONE DIES BECAUSE OF YOUR NEGLIGENCE

I went to the surgery today for a check up. The staff at the reception was friendly and Dr Alfagi was efficient and helpful too. He took the effort to use the image of the relevant organ to explain why I could get the symptoms which I was worried about. This was the appointment I got two weeks on the same day I requested via NHS app. The fact I had to wait for two weeks may not be directly related to the staff of the surgery but the management.

What was a fantastic GP Service is now diabolical.
GP apps are impossible to get. You are on hold forever and get told random times you will be answered...9 mins, 38 mins, 12 mins, 61 mins, 21 mins - it isn't logical.
You can't get an appt that isn't same day and is impossible for those who work / childcare.
You constantly get fobbed off with physio links, vitamin D letters etc, but zero actual care or preventative care.
Just a GP appointment for anyone is now like Gold dust.
So very sad.
Awful, awful service.

Why can't I give 0 stars? Shocking.

Need to see a GP for an issue? No chance - just go to A&E is what I'm told.

Need to organise a repeat prescription for a minor? No chance - They just rush and order the first thing they see, rather than reading the letter from the specialist properly...

Need to speak to someone about a mistaken prescription? No chance - Surgery is shut from 12:30, you have to call.

Need to use the call service? - No chance... unless you've got 90 minutes to sit on hold.

I don't blame the staff at the centre, they seem to be trying to do their jobs. Reception have been nothing but helpful and great every time I've been in. You can tell they're sick of having to deal with annoyed, frustrated patients.
