The operative with the beady eyes and grey side burns thinks he is St Peter at the Pearly gates. How hard can people make it to drop off some rubbish?! Now I see why the A10 gets fly tipped.

The site appears to be well run and organised. The staff are great, no complaints there. My big bug bear is that the steps up to the containers are too high, especially for an old one like me. My knees struggle. Particularly when carrying anything with any weight. The refurbished site on the A602 at Ware is much more knee friendly! Just my thoughts.

My wife and I had to use the Recycling Centre frequently due to clearing a friends flat following their passing. The staff couldn’t have been anymore friendly and supportive. They helped carry heavy materials and nothing too much trouble. Massive thank you to all the staff.

Visited Monday at 12 o’clock. Busy and queued for 5 mins but well organised. Bays and walkways kept tidy and staff were helpful, polite and friendly as always. Thanks again to Mark for help with a large metal item and to Robin who I saw helping several people and with a smile on his face too. It’s good to know the staff are keeping an eye out for people trying to offload trade waste here instead of through the correct channels and this is much appreciated. This review seems to have deleted my previous review when I thanked Mark and Artur for their help in retrieving my car keys from one of the bins.

Visited today with a guest bed. As we arrived i tried to attract attention of operative but was ignored until he saw my partner was with me. Told him we had a fold up bed and perhaps they could sell it on but all I got was a derisive snort of, "nah! We can't sell beds, it don't work like that" (sic). As we got out of the vehicle with said bed he quickly barked "put that down! Put that down" as he pointed to the floor. When I asked him to say 'please' and cease being rude he showed himself up by stating "I didn't know you had a bed, did i?". Erm I thought we had just discussed that moments ago...
Rude, ignorant people that work there. Well 90% of them. Fed up with the attitude every time I visit

Long queues to get inside but I felt comfortable with staff and public keeping a 2M space. There was no pushing or shoving, Was able to unload the car safely. Can't fault the staff.

Had to queue for 1.5 hours you need to open longer hours and Tuesday and Wednesday give a job to sum of the unemployed perhaps someone could have words with east hearts council and get dump open at ware. I can understand why people fly tip man on gate was very helpful and cheery
