A Massive Thank You to The Holt Venue!
My sister and I recently celebrated our 60th and 70th birthdays there on Saturday, and we couldn’t have asked for a better night. Samantha Riches and her team went above and beyond to make the evening absolutely epic.
From the moment we started planning, Sam was incredibly helpful and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The care and attention we received really made all the difference.

The Community Centre in Holt is exactly as it says in the name.. the centre of the community. The cosy cafe on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and the lunch club on a Thursday are invaluable regular volunteer run meeting times for so many local members of the community. There are fantastic classes from fitness, to line dancing to the W.I and so many more.. The bands, bingo and boxing events held in the evening are fantastic fun. Sam and her team are at the heart of it all and I can't recommend popping in to show your support and seeing what you might enjoy getting involved in. Without a doubt, you would be made so welcome.

Wonderful and intimate community hall location. Small enough for everyone to feel part of the action, large enough to create an exciting atmosphere. My first ever visit and I hope it won't be my last.

We hired the hall for a Birthday party I checked to see if it was all booked and the chap I spoke to on the Friday before the party was helpful he said a caretaker would be there to set up tables and chairs for me and to show me we're everything was we got there just before 1pm which the hirer of the venue was 1 till 5pm but we stood waiting outside in the cold for over half an hour luckily a man came who does usually come on a Sunday and let us in we had to clean down the floor which had some glass on and the tables and the kitchen work tops had to be wiped clean before we could set up for the children's party We are not blaming the caretaker as he had no idea of us booking the venue but I feel lack of communication and no numbers incase of anything like this happening again we left the place tidy and all looked up and I have photos to show how tidy we left it I'm totally disappointed in the way it was all handled

We have visited this venue just the once as guests at a family celebration. However, as a community centre it does have an excellent capacity for a multitude of various events and is centrally located with good access.

The Venue has been transformed over the past 2 years. Massive refurbishment has occurred and it's now an excellent venue for activities, clubs, parties, art exhibitions and performance. Everywhere is bright and modern and the work has continued during lockdown. I would highly recommend The Venue.
