I have gone in for a little shopping this afternoon and after that I thought I was overcharged at first glance, I went and confronted the staff but they respectfully proofed it was my mistake. I was rushing to get on a bus and couldn't apologise for the mistake, am really sorry. The response was very quick, thanks again and sorry for that terrible mistake

I bought a loaf of brown bread yesterday. The sell by date was 24th. It was reduced but I didn't expect the whole loaf to be mouldy all the way through. It should never have been sold.

I regularly use Home Bargains Jarrow to shop for a selection of products. On this occasion I went to purchase Christmas books for children at my school.
The management were amazing (Jonny on this occasion), initially saying that they were unable to offer any discount but personally offered to contribute from their own money to help towards the book! It was such a kind gesture! Always A** star service and amazing staff!

Always well stocked and so decently priced. Staff could be more cheerful and friendly. They always seem to be annoyed that they have customers at their tills or asked for help finding something. That's their job!! The store is always clean and tidy though.
