Used to be well managed and looked after tip! There seems to little pride in looking after the site anymore. I’m always picking up nails and screws and throwing them in the skips… today my tyre picked one up which is going to be rather costly.
This is down to the users as equally not caring what drops on the floor. The staff who don’t appear to sweep up anymore!

Come on guys please sweep up at least once a day.

Staff are always on hand to advise and ensure people are tipping safely and correctly and they've always been polite and approachable. The booking system makes it so much quicker too to get tipped and gone.
Tip shop - seen the odd item in there that's caught my eye but i think it's a shame all the wood furniture is left out in rain to ruin.
Overall, never had a bad experience here and it seems well organised site and easy to access.

I have no idea why you still have to book an appointment but this site is well run and efficient. Staff most of the time are friend ly and helpful. Shame you cannot dispose of paint here.

They take tiles and rubble, any household waste and there's a charity shop where you can give away items that are resold. You might even be able to buy a vintage item. Helpful lot, it does get busy, I think the new ticketing system is helpful, the time on Google maps is incorrect, The board outside the entrance shows:

Mon, Tues, Thurs and Friday
9:30-15:15

Wednesday
9:30-16:15

Sat,Sun
08:30-17:45

You can get a ticket on the site. The colleague at the site also stated you must book via the ticketing system, it reduces the amount of cars waiting. Although they haven't checked the last couple of times I've been.

What a horrible place! Ten want people to book but cars are just driving in and tipping! Rude staff members who think they are the king of the tip! Very unhelpful and not very polite. Next time I rather pay for a skip that go to this place. The council needs to investigate this place and the staff!

Wonderful way to get rid of unwanted items. Rather than throwing into your bin and filling it up quickly, you can quickly get rid of it without problem. Booking is easy

I like that its local, but the staff I find are very rude except 1 today. I turned up with 10 bags of garden turf, that were quite heavy and asked if they wouldn't mind helping me. The response I got was I can't helping can't lift heavy things, no eye contact never turned to look at me. The other guy did but no one seemed very engaging.
I got the bags into my car I just needed assistantance with lifting them into the crates.
There maybe people not as fit as me that may appreciate a little help, so manners would be nice and courtesy.

Although the website insisted you had to book a 15min slot on Eventbrite (all be it without charge) no one was checking if you had booked so it is very possible to just turn up and drop off any household waste. The signposting on site could do with improving but I eventually found everything I needed.
