Josh and Jenny cleared off all the old stone chippings from our driveway, smoothing the base surface down, replacing the weed matting and putting down new stones. Swept up the pavement and road afterwards, and disposed of all the old stuff.

Hard physical labour on a very warm day. All done within four hours.

Lovely job at a very fair price. Very happy to recommend.

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSSINESS UNLESS YOU WANT SOMEONE UNRELIABLE THAT ISN'T GOING TO SHOW UP ON TIME OR AT ALL AND TAKE YOUR MONEY AND ITEMS YOU PAID FOR TO DO THE JOB AND RUN AND LEAVE THE JOB UNFINISHED!

Josh never finished the job he started on July 22nd 2024 and its now August 13th!!!

The job was taking down and replacing my old fece and wooden posts that were cemented in taking out and cementing new concrete post in and gravel boards put in..

He asked for an advance on part of the work that was left because all that was left was to take one last wood post out that was cemented in, buy and put in a new concrete post in which we paid him for because he was going to get it cheaper supposedly, and 5 bags of post crete we also paid him for and have never seen any of the items we paid him for.

My fence was started on July 22nd 2024I was told Aug 3rd 2024 he would be finishing my fence. Then on the 3rd he said he meant the 4th then said he got home from work and the wrong post was delivered and post crete bags weren't delivered he said..OK riiight. So then he was supposed to speak to them about the post that following Monday and said he would come Tuesday to do the work. Then Monday I hear nothing try to reach him and can't, Tuesday same thing. Finally hear from him Aug 6th and he said that he had a work accident at work over the weekend and had to go to hospital etc. OK that's horrible if true , so I said
I understand if u cant finish the work soon so you can just give me my money back if u wont be able to do work soon and he said he no I should be back to work the following week and will hopefully be able to do the work.

Well guess what? It's that week now and I have tried calling, texting, left voice mails etc NOTHING for two days now!! NO RESPONSE AT ALL NO CALLS OR MSGS BACK ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR 2 DAYS NOW!!!!

I'm Completely and utterly shocked, upset and angry that as a bussiness owner someone would do this to a paying customer, a repeat customer at that.

So now we're out £130 and have an unfinished fence on top of it and other work he said he was also going to do for us which we have to find someone else to do! Wow!

Awful just awful to do this to someone who actually paid you an advance you asked for and has been a repeat customer even though this year you have been completely awful with returning msgs, calls, not showing up when your supposed to, awful work done on one occasion that was an absolute joke and wasted my entire day just for hedge trimming to be done and and a Conifer removed with a crew which now supposedly doesn't work for him now but wete absolutely horrible that day and totally messed up my hedge and all the equipment he had kept breaking etc it was an absolute sh*t show! I spoke to him that evening and he said that guy wouldn't be returning to work for him
And he would be doukg anymore work himself etc and with his normal crew and that guy was a trial day etc as the guy was on his cell phone most of the day and didn't do much when Josh had to leave for awhile.

Josh has constantly been late for work so many times over and over this year, but i was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt as he seemed really overworked! In the past he was a great worker when I used his servics a few years ago! He used to be really great then and I wpuld have highly recommended him then. Well that's definitely not the case anymore!

I did not want to have post this and do this but if it can help someone else from going through this and since I am out of owed money and work being done and he qont retirn any calls or msgs, I had no other option! All I wanted at this point was my £130 back that was for work advance he asked for, 1 concrete corner post, and 5 bags of post crete! Not to much to ask for after being stood up, money stolen and being ignored now with no response from him! We Will be filing a police report and putting this all over social Media now to hopefully help anyone else from getting screwed over and taken advantage of like this!

Gave up with trying to book some rubbish clearance. 2 days of false promises and failing to show only to not answer his phone and barely responds to text. I WAS a repeat customer but this took the biscuit so I went else where,
