I stopped in recently looking for some older tiles for my roof, Redland 52s, and the guys here were so helpful. Not only had Thomas tried to help me on Facebook but the guy in the yard also walked the site looking for something for me.

Unfortunately they didn't have what I needed however, they tried their best to help, even suggesting other places to try, which was in stark contrast to other locations on that day who couldn't be bothered to get off their seats to talk to me.

I genuinely would recommend chatting to the guys here as they are so helpful.

They sell roofing tiles the way to ought to be done.

Google maps will take you to the trade site, where they marshall goods for name retailers. The retail site is just around the corner, though and the blokes there will redirect you.

This consists of a huge yard, carpeted with crates of roofing tiles, moved about by fork-lift.

We were after tiles made by a company that we knew had gone broke, to refurbish an existing roof. They warned us that these would be unobtainable in future, which is often not done by people anxious to rid themselves of obselete stock.

The price was also better than the big name retailers, who spend a lot more on appearances.

The staff are relaxed, friendly efficient and know their business.

We bought 700 tiles and had them delivered. Miraculously, only 8 were broken. I can't promise that for everyone, but the care taken in packing and unloading was very encouraging.

If you are looking for a lot of roofing tiles this is the place to go, but they are still happy to sell small numbers of difficult-to-obtain tiles (as we saw, when a bloke came in for bits for a DIY project) 🙂
