I have amended my review from good to bad. The infrastructure is great but I think the staff go out of their way to be awkward. I was carrying a paving slab to the skip and the attendant shut the gate so I had to walk around to the side. He could have let me dispose of the slab before shutting the gate but clearly got pleasure from seeing me struggling. It was made worse by him just using head gestures to communicate to me that he wanted me to walk further to dump the slab.

In our opinion ! One staff member very rude and so unhelpful. Reusable goods man !!!!! He needs training on how to talk to people.

Staff are always helpful, BUT, Now only open Wednesday, Thursdays and Fridays, turned away if there are too many waiting outside ( which there is now, due to new opening hours)

I took my wife here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It went badly from the off. Upon our arrival there was no Maitre D' to greet us. Although we went without a reservation, I was shocked at the state of the place - surely they don't simply make an effort when they know people are coming? Needless to say they must be concentrating on their drive-through customers as we couldn't find any prepared tables. There was one with a missing leg but it didn't have any chairs - just two broken televisions and a hoover. My wife refused to sit on the hoover. The waiters, while highly visible, were not interested in us, or our complaints, and had a very slovenly appearance - it was the only aspect to this supposedly French restaurant that we found authentic and pleasing. It is quite possible that they are no longer serving food here, we didn't see anybody eating and none of the seventeen cookers appeared to be turned on. Consequently, it is impossible to recommend this for an intimate evening or birthday celebration. Next year we intend to try the dogging lay-by on the A43, near Hannington, instead.
