I went to get my MacBook fixed last year and was told that something was wrong with the motherboard so it needed to be replaced.

I spent over £400 getting it fixed and had a lot of back and forth with the employees where suddenly other things were broken and were costing more than they originally agreed.

A year later my Macbook won’t update to the latest version and I’m no longer able to use it. I took it to Apple to get it looked at and explained that it is the 2017 model so it still should be eligible for updates. I then was told that when my motherboard was replaced it was replaced with an older motherboard from around 2013/14 and there’s nothing they can do.

When I was getting my laptop fixed, I wasn’t told that the motherboard would be an older version. I’m gutted as I got it fixed in the hopes that I wouldn’t have to replace it for a couple more years and now I cannot use it at all. For £400 I could’ve just got a newer laptop.

Wouldn’t recommend their services.

As I said, I went to Apple to ask why my MacBook wouldn’t update. I also have 2 MacBooks registered to my account, the 2017 model which was fixed by you
and a MacBook under some random Swedish name that was registered in 2014. Upon inspection he found that it the 2014 motherboard was put in the 2017 model.

I have tried to contact you via email but you have not responded. I do not appreciate you trying to discredit me and make me seem dumb. Again, I suggest people avoid your services altogether.

I recently had a great experience with this wonderful PC repair shop. They fixed my kids' computer at a very reasonable price and in a timely manner. What stood out the most was how helpful and accommodating they were throughout the whole process. They even lent us a spare computer so my kids could still play their games while our computer was being repaired. Their communication was top-notch, keeping us informed every step of the way. They also offered us upgraded parts but understood our budget constraints and instead replaced the broken parts with the exact same ones keeping the price to our budget. Overall, I highly recommend this PC repair shop for their professionalism, affordability, and great customer service! They even put our minds to rest when we forgot to log out of the gaming apps on the borrowed PC explaining they wipe the computer due to data protection. Brilliant!

I stumbled across Kingfisher by accident, but the service I received has been world class. I am based in the south of the UK and had apprehensions about sending my Bitmain L3+ antminer to Hartlepool.
