25 minute wait because skip was being changed.....happens very frequently. People working there very rarely help....seem to hide in the containers incase they have to help. The public help others and employees are quite happy to let them...why are they employed? One visit a month in a van....even for green waste....ridiculous. The whole system needs a complete overhaul.

Made a few trips this weekend discarding wooden decking/old wood - 2 car loads full. Nice tidy recycling centre and very helpful staff. A lovely gentleman helped me unload it all on Sunday. Well done ?

Disgraceful should be open every day like skem tip,also the council trailer book in once a month for households is a joke and needs to be reversed as all you are doing is encouraging fly tipping and messing peoples cars up putting waste in the car instead of trailer.Council tax is a disgrace and offers less for your money every year.£2k + a year council theft tax for 3 bed house burscough and cheek to demand £45 extra for green waste,disgraceful greedy thieves....Make a stand people as we are being robbed blind,rant over.

Now only open from Thursday to Monday between 9 and 5…!
No one helps you and literally just watch you struggle....Wigan Council head and shoulders above this shower...had to go to the cabin to ask ....get off your backside!... 9.53am....sat in the office... Sweep the stairs which are full of screws... Hazards!...

Pretty much what others have said. Unhelpful, miserable jobsworths. If you turn up in a van (booked in correctly) they’re all over you like a rash. No wonder there’s so much fly tipping around the borough.
