This is by far the best recycling centre I've used. The guys there are great! 👍 And I used it a lot as I'm renovating a house 🏠
Gary, Samuel, Derek & Keith are great blokes! Always more than willing to help you! Helpful and friendly, the traffic system is brilliant as it keeps the site moving so more people can use it.

I absolutely love this tip!!!! The lads are so helpful! Derek, Samuel,Gary & Keith they're all so lovely and helpful!
I'm renovating a house so am a regular here at Leycett.
Nothing is too much trouble for them and as a female on her own they go out of their way to help me unload heavy items out of my car 🚗
Always really friendly and super helpful! And always a friendly chat!

I mostly use it Sunday evenings to dump garden waste. Only once there was a queue which moved quite quickly. Other times never really had to wait. Saturday evening after 4pm was a lot free. Small centre but does the job.

An older guy who worked there took it upon himself to help us with unloading the car, I could see other staff being helpful too. Polite and approachable. 👍

Absolutely brilliant recycling centre 👍👍 I live locally having moved here recently, I'm doing a house up so visit regularly, the guys are great... Of the gang.... Gary, Derek, Samuel and Keith. Great guys!

Nothing is too much trouble for them, help you unload your car to keep everything moving so more people can use the site.
Yes sometimes you go you have to wait while the containers are emptied but look on the website for when it's busy and plan when you go.... Absolutely spot on lads... Keep up the great work 💯

I came down to Leycett Tip on the Bank Holiday (26.08.24). The staff there were friendly, affable, full of advice and helped us with our heavy items. They also Marshalled the parking in a professional manner so as many people could get in, and minimising any queues on the road. Top people.

The staff there are always helpful and friendly. I just find this place cramped and parking there and trying to unload seems not safe. I think they should prioritise health and safety there as you can just pull up and park and you have others cars/vans right parked however they like. So carrying stuff makes it harder. There need to be a better system, as this is the only waste recycling centre in Newcastle under Lyme.

Good recycling centre but parking is appalling. On arrival there is no clear signage on what to do was then signaled to go through some cones by a member of staff only for there to be no where for me and another car to go once through so I parked up in the only area that I could only to be moved to another location which as a result trapped multiple other cars in. It felt like staff were more interest in getting as many cars in at once than actually ensuring safety
