Overall, Lidget Lane Recycling Centre is a well-organised and clean facility. The clear signage makes it easy to know where to dispose of various items, which helps make visits quick and efficient. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful, though it can depend on who you speak to. You can see a lot of effort is put in to keep things tidy and running smoothly.

My sister and I were in Bramley Rotherham to clear our late aunts house ready for selling. We visited the Lidget lane recycling centre many times over the 5 days we were there. The guys there were so helpful, we couldn't have recycled everything we needed to without there help! Polite and cheerful and leant us a hand when we had some heavier items , directing us to the correct areas for a multitude of different items . They really are the benchmark for all recycling centres! So Thank you to all the guys working there for your kindness and helpfulness with our Mammoth task ! Legends!

I have spent the last two days clearing my late mother-in-law’s house. Been here several times with various household items. I asked advice on a number of occasions. Finally, The only man wearing protective headwear, who seemed to spend his time watching me walk back and forth with stuff for recycling, waited for me to leave a bag FULL of hard plastics to put in the skip marked HARD PLASTICS. He promptly picked up said bag and dumped it at my feet, saying “this isn’t a leave it where you like site”. No further conversation from an extremely rude, officious, unhelpful jobsworth.
10/10 for being officious. 0/10 for customer service. Unfortunately I can’t put 0 stars. Thanks for all your help. 😡

What an amazingly well kept yard , absolutely spotless, the guys should be proud of themselves and deserve a medal for keeping it so clean, well done lads 👍

We have been using this tip for many years. We find the men who work there really friendly, cheerful and helpful. In particular Matt, Simon and Mick the current staff. Their job is not an easy one, they have to complete various training courses to be able to do the job and work in all weathers. Those who complain aught to think would they want to do the job, if not, then be grateful for those who do. They are sometimes verbally and physically abused - this is not acceptable for the service they offer.

It's not very often that a person gives a review on a recycling site but they should. The staff at Lidget Lane are absolutely brilliant and should be prized for their excellent attitude, politeness, and demeanor. Working out in all weather does not dampen enthusiasm and cheerful ways. Ask them anything and they are there with advice and help. One of them even took some packing waste for me as (and I quote) he was passing and was going that way. It put a smile on my face. Thanks for a great service.

went to the tip on Saturday 6th January 2024 with garden waste only to find I had 2 flat tyres the next day costing £160 for someone to come to my home to replace them. shocking cleanup needs addressing ASAP

Was initially closed to new vehicle entry on arrival (there were cars already inside) with no real explanation as to why. As a result a long queue built up causing a potential obstruction on the nearby roads. I'm guessing they were moving stuff around but would be good to communicate this 👍
