Awful layout and absurd that it’s closed two days a week. Not fit for purpose and it’s depressing that the council doesn't have any better ideas of how to help its citizens to reduce, reuse and recycle more effectively.

Takes ages to get in and then you’re solidly queuing to get around to the main sections (garden waste, wood, textiles etc). It’s single file only with just a few parallel parking spaces to stop in.

I’ve lived in a few places all over the country and this is easily the most poorly designed tip I’ve used. Everyone gets caught up in a bottle neck to get around. There is nowhere near the capacity or effective layout needed for a city of this size.

Why do the council make it so hard for people to recycle and dispose of waste responsibly? There’s no free bulky waste collection in the city so it’s particularly poor to have such a “rubbish” tip. Unless that’s the name of the game of course - get people to pay for bulky waste removal. Wouldn’t it be refreshing to live in a city where the council made it a lot easier to reduce, reuse and recycle?

And to not even be open seven days a week is beyond poor.

Excellent facility, well organised, everyone is patient and understanding. So nice to see a service like this getting used so well. People are moaning in the reviews about been closed 2 week days. But its open at the weekend. Ample of days and time.

The male staff were rude, except for the young man on the gate who let us in at 3.50, 2 trains at the crossing had delayed us. All the others were unhelpful, they were shouting and swearing at each other, although the young lady working was very pleasant.

Poorly organised. Demand is for the cardboard and general waste which is narrow and bottlenecked. The beginning section is always empty. They could do with putting the high demand areas at the beginning where there is more space.

The queues are horrendous, not many staff around and closed some days...Lincoln is a bigger town now, and this tip just isn't big ebough
