The cooking oil tank is always locked up and you need to ask the staff to open it. If you wanna pour it yourself, be scolded you are "bending" their precious tank's door which is obviously bent. Come on, it's just a waste oil tank but not vehicle fuel. Ridiculous!

Firstly the staff are present around the sorting area, happy to direct you and proactive offering help if you're looking lost, they always seem very helpful. But the centre has stopped taking plastics. They used to have a "hard plastics" section and it's gone now. I don't know if any others in the area do but will have to look around. Weirdly they can take shredded paper, but not unshredded, so you have to put everything through the shredder, perhaps they need a sort of industrial paper shredder! It's also a bit cramped a couple of the spaces are really tiny little corners and impossible to get into, sometimes it's hard to find anywhere to stop. Whole place could do with being moved to a bigger site and have the plastic recycling back.

The staff there are so rude. A woman was stood watching people put stuff in non recyclable and question every body. She had such an attitude and made me feel uncomfortable which I rarely am. Will not be using that one again

This morning I looked on the website and it was ambiguous as to whether it was open with the COVID 19 situation. So flushed with optimism I packed my car and made my way around expecting a queue. With opening due in 10 mins I turn up to find no queue and signs saying not open till further notice. What the problem here? Other sites are open? If I were a less generous person I would suggest a little shirking from home going on. Please give clarity to folk. It cost little, saves time and suggest a well run site.

Went to dispose of two bags of garden waste today. A staff member offered to help empty one of the bags as it was busy and promptly manage to rip the handle off my new resusable garden bag, by using sheer brute force! He was very apologetic afterwards, but I now have a damaged bag! Not impressed.

Staff were overly aggressive today when I accidentally had an old can of drink in with my un-recyclable waste and suggested I would be reported to the council? Understandable that waste needs to be split, hence why the rest of my rubbish is in recycling bins at home, but to be stopped from leaving and then threatened with a fine for accidentally leaving a can in a black bag was quite upsetting and doesn't make me feel welcome here.

good site, easy to get to, easy to see where things go.
staff are very social, never a problem to talk to them such as asking which bin is best for a weirder object.
sadly, people will be people, and they park poorly and block up the one way road around the centre.
