Very friendly and professional service. Stuart more than happy to help out after I broke down on a camping trip, great service and a nice bloke, towed me back to my campsite and helped get the car in a safe location. Nick came out next day to tow me and the family 60 miles back to Manchester. Again very friendly and patient, both lads more than happy to help you out. Would highly recommend this company! Staff in the office knew their stuff, very helpful and were genuinely interested in helping us out.

My husband and I found ourselves in an unexpected predicament this morning when we somehow managed to lock the keys to our (hired) camper van inside the van!

Within a couple of hours, a very friendly and efficient representative of Macadam Rescue and Recovery appeared and promptly succeeded in retrieving the keys. We were very grateful to Nick, not only for his expert handling of the situation but also his sense of humour.

Fantastic service from this company after I had to contact Green Flag following a flat battery on my CMax. The mechanic, Lewis was very helpful and polite and had to replace the stop/start battery which he carried in his vehicle. The position of the battery was difficult to remove but he was obviously an experienced and confident mechanic . Your quick and efficient service was much appreciated. Thank you.

Macadams were assigned by the RAC to attend my breakdown. My car had a blowout and I didn't have any way of putting the spare on. Lenny attended and was absolutely first class. He was genuine and made sure he did all he could to help. After fitting the spare, I set back off on the A1 and the spare immediately exploded leaving me stranded. I called Lenny and he advised me what to do and that he would make sure he got me sorted. After logging my situation with the RAC, he contacted his office to take the job on despite it being close to the end of his shift. Lenny came back and recovered my vehicle and myself from Wetherby to Darlington before making the drive back to his home which would be approximately 90 minutes later than he would have. His technical knowledge and personal, professional approach made a challenging evening alot easier and I can't speak highly enough about him or the service from Macadams Keighley

J D Macadam & Son (Rescue) Ltd were appointed to use, through Green Flag to recover our caravan. There were complications, mostly through divisions and misunderstandings between myself and Green Flag, however J D Macadam & Son (Rescue) Ltd and their employees were polite, helpful, understand informative and prompt.

I can't fault them for helpfulness politeness and efficiency and they brought our caravan 2hrs home.

Superb and efficient service, 5 stars.
Green Flag should be very happy for a company like this representing them.

Had a flat tyre high up in Bilsdale on forest Road. My insurance company were pretty awful, but Calum from Macadams saved the day. He had to come all the way from West Yorks to deepest North Yorks, which couldn't be helped, but he sorted everything, drove us home and dropped the car off at a local tyre garage to save having to drive it, this at 11pm! Calum was cheerful, professional and a great credit to Macadams. Thanks Calum.

Beware of this company. The company I took breakdown cover with Nova Direct sent someone from this company when my car wouldn't start on the evening when temperature was below 2°, he rang from a private number and left a voicemail to say he was going to be 15 minutes. When he arrived on the end of the street where i was waiting, he turned his van around and left, i was confused as to why he'd done this until he rang me again and I asked him why he left, i asked him to come back then I went to the end of the road to wait for him. I was shocked to see that he'd driven to the backstreet behind the houses of the street where i was waiting for him. It occurred to me afterwards that he did that to make it look on the tracker that he'd attended and that I wasn't there. Nova Direct issued a threat of charging me £100 callout fee if I cancelled or if I'm not present when recovery arrives. My car only needed a jump start, he put what looked like a trickle charger on my battery then told me start my car up, it worked but he said i needed a new battery and tried to sell me one for £125. After a few minutes, he told me to turn the car off, wait a few minutes then turn it back on, only it didn't work this time and didn't even make the click sound. I was annoyed that he'd damaged my battery on purpose to get me to buy the £125 one even though i told him i didn't have the money after the expense of paying for Christmas. I tried the engine again and applied the accelerator this time, it worked and I revved it to give it more power. It has been ok since. What a dishonest person he was.
