Bought a car from then, it was recorded as no category. The vehicle did not only have a category but had been previously very badly damaged and repaired very badly, the chasis was still damaged. The vehicle look good in pictures but internally it was finished. the dashboard airbags had been popped and was covered in pictures with cover. It's a scam company and would not recommend it at all. Do not fall for fake pictures.

I went there to view some cars before auction. Reception staff was very friendly. Yard staff was helpful and professional in answering my questions. I don't get why some of reviews are so bad. For me it was time well spent.

Scummy salvage dealer pulling back street shady moves putting them through synetiq auctions how they still trade I don’t know!
2nd Response: that would work if I didn’t know where that car was bought from! So nice try but try again! Your reviews speak for itself and this is the 2nd time I’ve been burnt the 1st being a fiesta where airbags had been removed which weren’t visible in the pictures. I wouldn’t even bother getting into an argument with you brushing it off as a fuel cap missing what a joke! The tailgate and rear bumper have been changed and replaced with damaged ones and when YOU removed the parts caused more damage to headlining, plastics & trims! Anyway do you mate cars ready on the road. Just don’t pull the typical backstreet garage moves have pride in what you do!

Avoid buying a salvage car from this company. Bought a car from there auction for £22k. Firstly MBS bid up the vehicle to get what they wanted for it. On getting the vehicle on a ramp there was accident related damage that was bodged together with wrong parts and the sub frame was hanging out. None of this damage was noted in the sale description or images. After several emails asking about the damage MBS didn't want to know. Director couldn’t even be bothered to reply to any emails. Finance director said we can put the vehicle back into the auction. We would not do this as someone else would have to deal with the bodged work.
Sent a recorded letter as per trading standards asking for a small goodwill compensation of £500 to go towards the damage that was bodged together with incorrect parts MBS didn’t even reply. This is not what I would expect from a “family run business for 75 years “. They are only in for the money and don’t care about selling dangerous vehicles. It was not a professional company to deal with. Avoid this company for any salvage vehicles.

AS FROM THE IMAGES IT WAS DRIVEABLE. WE KNOW NOW IT WASNT DRIVEABLE AS THE SUBFRAME WAS HANGING OUT. IF IT WAS A CUSTOMERS CAR, THEN I ASKED YOU TO PROVIDE THEM MY DETAILS BUT YOU WOULDNT. WHY DID THE MD NOT RESPOND TO MY EMAILS OR RECORDED LETTER THAT WAS SENT. YOU ARE A POOR COMPANY TO DEAL WITH AND I WISH I HAD READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE BIDDING AS THIS WOULD OF STOPPED ME. YOU CLEARLY LIKE SELLING DANGEROUS VEHICLES AND HAVE NO CONSIDERATION FOR CUSTOMERS BUYING CARS WITH MORE DAMAGED THAN YOU PROVIDED OR WITH INCORRECT PARTS FITTED. I HOPE PEOPLE STOP USING YOU.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Purchased a salvage BMW from these scammers via Synetiq auction. Could tell I was being bid up by someone and from the other comments was probably someone that worked there, so I paid over the odds for the car initially. When it was delivered I unfortunately found out that airbags had been deployed which had been hidden in the pictures & the airbag light blacked out. How they sleep at night I don’t know, but hopefully karma will sort them out, they don’t even deserve 1 star… 🙁

VEHICLE NOT AS ADVERTISED. BROKE DOWN 5 MILES FROM COLLECTING. CLUTCH AND GEAR BOX GONE. NONE OF THE ELECTRICALS WORK. SIDE DOOR WONT SHUT AFTER WE OPENED IT. BODYWORK BEEN BODGED. WINDOW SCREEN HAS TWO CRACKS. INTERNAL DECOR VERY VERY POOR AND BODGED TOGETHER. DIRTY OLD MATTRESS IN THE BACK CAMPER. OVERHEATING. WARNING LIGHTS ON. NO MILEAGE SHOWING SO BEEN TAMPERED WITH. ALL 4 WHEEL TRIMS HELD ON WITH TIE WRAPS. BACK DOORS VERY BADLY DAMAGED. HAND BREAK DOESN'T WORK AT ALL AS IT HAS NO CABLE. ALL FOUR TYRES ARE ILLEGAL.
DO NOT BUY. MBS SALVAGE YARD ARE SELLING UNWORTHY SCRAP VEHICLES THROUGH SYNETIQ AUCTION.
ADVERTISED AS MOTORHOME BUT LOG BOOK SAYS ITS A PANEL VAN.
COST ME £700 TO HAVE THE VEHICLE RECOVERED TO MY HOME. WAS STRANDED ON THE M602 FOR HOURS.
DOES NOT MATCH DESCRIPTION OR PHOTOS. THE RECOVERY MAN HAS CONDEMNED THE VEHICLE AS UNROAD WORTHY.
