Used them twice now, and they're great. I thought we were going to have an issue because they gave us a 'free' weekend when we absolutely needed the skip picked up on day 7. But they came to the rescue, grabbing it before the end of business on the right day. Huge relief! Skips are always in reasonable shape, well placed on drop off, and swiftly out of the way on pick up. Very well done.

This is my first time using these guys, as we usually used batesy. But will now be using these guys in future. They are better value and so so helpful. I rang to ask could I pay a little bit extra as I didn’t think I would have the skip filled on time (due to a back injury) and the lady on the phone was so lovely, and told me not to worry, and just to call when the skip was ready, no extra charge.

Not many businesses out there would do that these days. Happy customer, so will use again and recommend.

We have been hiring skips for years, tried just about every skip hire company in the country (sad but true) and I must say McKinstry are the best value and have the best service. Call to get your skip collected and replaced with a new one and it is pretty much next day.

As a comparison, we used Bates for a long time but lost patience when they continued to deny one of their skips we wanted collected was theirs- so it sat there for well over a month completely full and getting pretty unpleasant on the nose. As we had been using them for so long you'd have thought it pretty obvious it was their skip but after dozens of calls they were kind enough to first send someone to look at the skip to confirm it was theirs and about a week later finally collected it.

Long story short, McKinstry Skip Hire are the best around as far as I can tell so save yourself time shopping around!!

I've ordered a few skips off Mckinstry over the past few weeks and the service has been top class even during lockdown. The phone always gets answered, skips get delivered and picked up on time, replacement skips delivered on the day. Very reasonably priced as well, I'll be using them going forward.
