Drove up just over 2 weeks ago to collect my Golf R. Condition of the vehicle could have been better, was a little disappointed after having Apple Car Play enabled at my local VW dealership that they found that the O/S/F top strut mount and bearing and dust cover needed replacing. Still trying to get this approved with the warranty I received with the vehicle. The windscreen could also do with replacement as it has had 2 previous repairs but there is a small crack going through one of the repairs. The front grill painted in black by the previous owner is in poor condition with a lot of stone chips and the black paint is coming away. Overall lovely car but prep from the dealership could be better.

Definitely recommend and would come back in the future. The car itself is great and everyone we encountered was super friendly and welcoming. Very informative and even sorted things on a Sunday before Xmas so very appreciative. 🙂

What a fantastic company I just purchased my A45 AMG Night Edition from Mike And Chester and the service was incredible they couldn’t do enough for me!! Easily my 5th vehicle from the guys @ MCR. Due to past experiences I would not shop anywhere else. They always go above an beyond to source what I ask for and make changes upon request! I’m fussy but they never fail to put a smile on my face!
Truck in pic is my most recent an easily my favourite.
I’ve had some minor mechanical issues over the years like you do with ANY vehicle that cannot be pre-empted and they always go out of their way to help, even the time I thought my power steering had gone wrong when in actual fact I had a flat tyre 😂 totally not their problem but they still fixed it for me.
I don’t ever test drive because I’m buying from guys who only deal with quality cars & the risk of me kerbing the freshly painted wheels is high an ultimately pointless as I know I won’t be driving anything that sounds like a bag of nails!
100% recommend and will always be a returning customer 🤘🏻

If I could give 0 stars I would.

Bought a car in February £14000 and it had a cylinder over heating issue from the very start.
Sent back to dealership for repair, to which they sent it back to me with more issues than before.
In this process they had driven it round the world and back 3 Times.
Had a constant coolant leak to the point where the car eventually got so hot the expansion tank blew up in the main road. The breaks caught on fire in the middle of the dual carriage way and it had 2 tyres both with temp puncture repairs. Funnily… I paid for new ones. (We’re only on week 2 at this point).

Car had an oil leak that sprayed up the front windscreen, failing water pump, seized calipers, 2 dodgy tyres (which were on the previous MOT) and god knows what else.

Finally managed to send the car back to the dealership as refusal after fighting with them for 6 weeks via my finance company and owning the car for 5 months

For 5 months the car has been in for repair by not only the dealership but by other company’s too atleast 6 times, all of which - those repairs shouldn’t need doing, it should have been checked by them before sale.

I paid for the car to be fixed whilst it was under warranty and they said I’d get reimbursed, £600 later still no money. Tried to deduct me 80p a mile for usage whilst admitting they were using the car for personal use to which they called a 500 mile trip a test drive to check for faults.

Deducted me £4k through my finance company for a car I had 5 months with never ending faults.

All I can say is i wouldn’t buy a carrier bag off this company, let alone a car.

Brilliant company to deal with, I purchased a BMW from them a couple of months from them. These guys know their specialist cars and only deal in them which really helps. Easy and straightforward to deal with, car was as described (high level of prep to the car, like all their cars) and at a good price so no price negotiation was needed. Since I have had the car a couple of smalls bits needed doing such as the AC regas. They sorted it immediately, I took it to a local garage to get it done and they sent me the money via bank transfer. They are hands down the best garage I have bought a car from and I will definitely be back there for my next car👍🏽.
