What services does this GP actually provide? Ive heard of several different people phoning up asking for urine/blood tests etc one being a friend just to be told we dont do that here.. Im sorry but what services do you actually provide? Is this doctor in training or something because he or she cant seem to do anything useful at all. This place needs to sort themselves out because its pretty clear with the reviews people are not happy and change is needed urgently. Disgusting service that needs closing down unless immediate improvements are made. Also that Anima system or whatever they try forcing you to use is nothing more than a load of unreliable rubbish obviously used to keep the numbers down because it is not fit for purpose, Not everyone uses technology so it discriminates against the elderly and anyone else who either cant or doesnt use much technology.

Was told by my mother's carer that my mother needed a urine test for a uti so call the gp. Did as asked and was told by the receptionist that the gp doesn't test urine samples any more and we should call 111!?! Obviously, 111 don't do urine samples and told us that yes, in fact, taking urine samples is part of the surgery's role and we need to call the gp lol!
They also let her run out of medication frequently as mentioned in other reviews, and the receptionist is extremely rude, gives false information which actually shocked the people at 111 and hangs up on people when you try to ask them to explain how you are supposed to get things done.
I'm not ignorant, I have a different gp for myself and my family and I have never had this trouble or rudeness there. The place needs to be seriously looked at before they are done for negligence.

We called them asking if they were able to do travel injections, and they said yes. This was 2 weeks before and they told us to book an appointment and buy the injections which we did and had to keep in the Fridge. I booked the appointment and even got a confirmations to then go into the surgery that day and be told that I’m not able to get them done. They then said they were supposed to call us, when they didn’t and we never got the call or even a text and now my children are having to go to another country without no injections. The guy informed us that the injections was able to be done two days before and then when we went they said that it should be done weeks ago. So they basically lied and then told us that they can’t do anything and anyone we call now is not able to do my children’s injections and I’ve spent money on the injections for no use! They need to get more professional staff that are able to inform their patients that their appointment has been cancelled. And we are going in 2 days so if something is to happen to my children, they will be contacted.

I went for my son’s immunisation and noticed that he had an oral thrush. So I asked Andrea, the receptionist if a doctor could quickly see him and prescribe some medicine. She immediately asked the doctor and was able to get us a prescription. My son got better quickly because of her kind help. She has always greeted us with a smile and is a very polite person.

3 times my pharmacy has requested my repeat blood pressure medication and inhalers and the surgery haven't processed them. Again I am extremely low on my necessary medication and have to chase them again. Weekend now so won't get it until a least Tuesday if I'm lucky. Disgraceful

Seen qwickly polite staff. Best doctors surgery I've ever had. I'm sad I don't live in the catchment area anymore.

It's a shame that this practice is let down by a certain rude defensive receptionist that both my son & I have experienced on more than one occasion, who is based at the Malvern Road practice. I feel she needs to go on a customer care course asap. All the other receptionists are lovely & helpful but her, I work in primary care and such behaviour would not be tolerated. She is the most rude, unhelpful person I have come across; don't dare try to question her.

Had a blood test and receive a text to ask me to book an appointment but they can't book one for over 4 weeks and then proceeded to tell me to ring 111. I'm not sure how they will be able to help with my blood test results Also having been diagnosed over a year ago with a condition and only today they have a nurse that specialises in this area? Great communication and management of their patients conditions!

Also they don't actually respond to any formal complaints submitted to the practice manager - I logged one for a separate matter in January 2020 and have never had a response.

Absolutely shocking service since they have merged. One start given but if I could provide a review with no stars then I would!
