My car had a totally flat battery, nothing would work including central locking. Metcalfes came out within an hour via Halfords Breakdown Cover. The excellent recovery driver quickly got the car started. Checked all was working, advised the battery should be checked by local battery supplier. Driver followed me to near the battery company to ensure the vehicle and I were OK. Excellent service by the recovery driver providing great advice and technical knowledge. Thoroughly recommend.

Called Green Flag on Sunday when we had a problem connecting the electrical plug on the caravan to the car. Someone from Metcalfes (maybe Kevin?) was on site within the hour to fix the problem. We'd gone to try to get the necessary part but he waited for us to return before checking that all was well and we could be on our way. Excellent service - highly recommended!

Broke down on A1 Green flag sent Metcalfs to rescue us Kevin came and rescued us.He was brilliant took us to the garage he knew were experts in electrics ABS light was on our car.He was cheerful and reassured us about the skills at the garage and he was correct they got us sorted and we were able to have our holiday 😀

Clutch went just outside Ripon. Metcalf's were quickly on the scene and took my vehicle home to Northumberland. Spot on service, very efficient and great to deal with. Would certainly recommend.

December 14 @ 08.34 I had to call Green Flag .....less than an hour later I was back on my way...thanks to excellent help from KJ (my new best friend) who changed my n/s rear wheel for my spare.

Wife's car had tyre blow out on Sutton Bank and Kevin turned up via green flag recovery turned up nice recovery lorry 🚚 and took us home chatted all the way nice chap if we have to use recovery again hopefully be Kevin. Thanks Kevin

I was driving along the A19 to an important meeting when my car broke down and I was forced to stop at the side of the dual carriageway. I called Metcalfes of Thirsk and the lady on the phone was very helpful and had a mechanic with me in 20 minutes! He fixed the issue and had me on my way just in time to get to my meeting.
