My family's experiences at this surgery have been beyond poor. The staff seem obsessed with labelling people, e.g bedridden, housebound, and trying to categorise people that they forget the individual patients needs. In September my 86 year old father, who was bedridden and at the end of life, was receiving visits from Marie Curie nurses and hospice nurses. When the nurses asked me to telephone for a doctor to come out I was asked by the doctor if it was possible to bring my father to the surgery. 9 months on, my 85 year old mother is experiencing much the same treatment. Despite being housebound, suffering from COPD and having been diagnosed with bradycardia at Grantham hospital she has been waiting for follow up medication for the best part of 2 weeks whilst the surgery fights the A&E department because they say the hospital hasn't followed process. The fact that she is home alone, (I live abroad) worrying herself senseless is of no concern. My frequent phone calls have been unfruitful, they now don't answer. If I could give a no star rating I would. Shameful.

I’m surprised by the negative reviews, as this is one of the best doctors surgeries I’ve known of. My father is end-of-life, and the help we have received from the well-being team is second to none. Neither Mum or Dad are happy using the internet and I have always been helped via the phone.

I'm sorry but this is one of the worst (privately operated) Doctors surgeries. What is the world coming too when you can't call to book an appointment or physically walk in and speak to the 2 receptionists to get an appointment. I have now registered else where, and my new doctors will let you call for an appointment.
How many elderly have Internet or 'smart' phones to enable them to access there doctors.?
I know thinks change, but I say the old ways are still the best.

The only competent doctor who really cares about his patients is Dr. Kasi. But the worst thing is the reception work. I was registered for a test in Grantham, I even received a confirmation message, but when I went, it turns out that I was not in their system. The reception forgot to put a checkmark somewhere. Ok, they re-registered, I had to go again.
Today I had a nurse appointment for vaccines before a holiday in Thailand, which was cancelled because I didn't fill out the holiday travel form, which someone forgot to give at reception when I booked in! And now I have to wait at least a week for another appointment, which means I won't get some vaccines that need to be done 4 weeks before departure and etc.

Excellent surgery. Helpful kind staff. Love Ask My GP....always get an answer/help on the same day. Very lucky compared with lots of other doctors surgeries in the UK!

I have thought long and hard prior to posting this . My mother lives in the village and lost her fight with cancer this week . She and my step father were of the old fashioned era and when I asked if they had asked for a GP to visit I was always told that there was no one available but if she could get to the surgery they could see someone . She was immobile and weak and in pain . I couldn’t quite believe this and when I called the surgery to ask if the GP was going to Fast Track her care I was asked by the receptionist what did that mean !! She was told that it was the correct end of life care at home , disgusted that they didn’t know this . Prescriptions were given but my step father couldn’t get them from the local pharmacy , no follow up from the GP or surgery .
My mothers end of life care was managed with a complete lack of dignity . I myself live 4 hrs away and have felt so frustrated by the lack of correspondence from this surgery
I may be a grieving son but i am also a senior manager in a local authority who works closely with health and CQC who’s last rating was‘Outstanding’ I would urge this surgery to closely look at its community end of life care ….

Terrible doctors. Never have appointments. Never communicate back. Signed off for 7 weeks, feel better and cannot go back to work until my note is amended. Attempt number 2 to reach a doctor today.
