I would like to extend a massive thank you to the team at Milton Recycling Centre. The level of service provided was exceptional, far exceeding all expectations. The staff were incredibly helpful, particularly Mike and his team, who assisted with heavy items on multiple occasions. Their professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond made a significant difference. I am truly grateful for their support and excellent service. Lovely staff and very resourceful centre. The staff member who assisted me was helpful and kind. It's very tidy down there and there's some very weird and wonderful animals to look at!

Well run, nice chaps. Shame no easier access apart from stairs, like on that TV programme (Sarah and Scottish guy; turn junk into magic stuff) where cars just reverse car, then chuck into skip at lower level. Could this be thought about TIP TEAM? I am getting older!!

The staff are horrendous, rude and unhelpful. Got interrogated (Not politely asked) by multiple staff members as to what was in my van. Overheard one staff member harassing other people as to what was in bags, only to watch him remove board games from the bags and put them to one side. Didn't realise Milton Recycling Centre was a free for all shop for the staff.

I understand that waste needs to be separated and put in to the correct containers but here is an idea, don't act like airport security barking orders at people. This way people will be more likely to cooperate.

Check the timings. they are seasonal.

April to September:
Monday to Friday - 9am to 8pm
Saturday and Sunday - 9am to 6pm
(Site may close at dusk if earlier)

October to March:

Staff can be rude and talk to you like you're an idiot. Not very helpful. Don't even seem to know what their own signs say.

The opening times should be updated to reflect the fact that the gates shut 10 minutes before closing time!!!!! We got there 9 minutes before closing time and we were not allowed in. Absolutely disappointing!

Staff are always helpful and polite. It’s kept clean and tidy. It’s a much better experience than the recycling centre in Southampton where we previously lived!
