On first visit to purchase parts for my son's car found helpful we purchase the clutch and dual mass flywheel on a Friday afternoon so the work could be carried out on the Saturday by a qualified mechanic who i hired to carry out the work on trying the new clutch which was fitted using the correct tools it was found to be faulty due to pre-load on the LUK clutch being incorrect by this time it had gone past the closing time on Saturday for motor parts direct after looking on the internet and my macanic speaking to another colleague's this was found to be quite common and we had no option as the was on the ramp with the gear box out we had to go and purchase an identical LUK clutch from Euro Car Part this was fitted the same way as the first clutch and was perfect and worked fine with no problem with preload. I contacted Motor parts direct on Monday morning and said I would be returning the faulty part and at that point was told yes bring it back i arrived at motor parts direct late Monday afternoon and was told I could not have my money back as it had been test fitted but you would not know that the preload was wrong without bolting it to the dual mass flywheel they where totally unhelpful and told me the clutch cannot be faulty and it must of been fitted incorrectly as i explained it was fitted by a qualified macanic using the correct tools and it's funny that the second clutch was fitted the same and works correctly Motor Parts Direct are quick to take your money but when selling you a faulty part just blaim it on you and refuse to except responsibility for the faulty part they sold after sitting down in the shop and refusing to leave without my full refund they eventually refunded my money Worst customer service that I had ever received from a company be aware
