Just got back from here today, had to scrap mums car for the ULEZ everything was instant (payment and COD) explained everything throughly to my mum. Who was worried so wanted me to come with her.
Whilst the scrap value for a car isn’t as high as say other pickup companies, it evens out because they’re legit, fast and instant whereas others you may either get scammed or have to wait and sometimes if you’re on a deadline you can’t exactly wait.
The scrap value is genuine scrap value, whereas other companies offer more because they strip the parts and sell them.
(Trivia: My late stepfather use to always come here just before Christmas every year when he had his cabling company and the scrap would be distributed between us as a bonus. Funny enough the car we scrapped he bought for mum, so abit surreal to have a gut feeling to come here especially as I didn’t actually remember the name but then when I saw the yard it flooded back memories in a good way.)

I recently scrapped my car here as they are part of the TFL scrappage scheme and found the process to be quick and easy. The certificate of destruction was issued there and then and the staff were professional and friendly.

After being ripped off by multiple scrap yards we were recommended to New Era Metal. We took metal from a house renovation there today. Everything was weighed in front of us, we were given good prices and the money was in my bank account within two hours. Great company - we will be using them from now on.

Had to scrap a car. The entire process was quick and professional and I could not recommend them highly enough. Issued me a DVLA certificate of destruction on the spot. Nothing to fault what so ever with the staff friendly and efficient.
