I emailed to look for a part for my Peugeot 206. I had a reply from someone telling me they have a couple of 206s in at the moment so to come and take a look for the part. I drove from Torquay to Paignton, got there and was told by the man on reception that they had a 206 only just brought in but weren't aloud to break it at the moment. I explained that I was told on email that there were apparently a couple here, but he said yeah there are downstairs but Steve is very busy at the moment and it would annoy him if I went down to look, so told me to write my name and number down and he would call me in a day or so and I can go and collect the part I wanted. There were also lots of men around carrying big parts of metal around and not one man/staff member was wearing a face covering, and while I was talking to the man on reception another worker came shoulder to shoulder with me, butted in and shouting at the man I was talking to. Feeling a bit intimidated being a young woman and not wanting to argue the fact I have just drove from Torquay just for this as I was told to via email and now being told I can't because the guy is 'too busy', I left. I also never got a phone call from them for the part, but after this experience I wouldn't have wanted to go back anyway and definitely won't be in the future. Waste of fuel and time. No social distancing or wearing face coverings, and not professional at all.
