Stopped by this little wood yard the other day and I'm so glad I did! Everyone there was super friendly, from the person who cut my wood to the owner. 🌟 They've got a brilliant range of reclaimed wood at really good prices. I turned an old scaffolding board into shelves for way cheaper than anything I could have bought online. Plus, you can get the wood cut to the exact size you need. They've got a cool little shop with all kinds of furniture made from reclaimed wood too. Love that it's a community place and the money goes back into local projects. 💚 Definitely will be back for my next DIY project!

I've used them a few times, the woman who runs the yard is always friendly and helpful and makes a fuss of the kids. The delivery lads are great too. The prices are on par if not a little cheaper than other places for things like scaffold and pallet boards but I've had some amazing deals on more unusual stuff like some 4.2m sleepers and their live edge slabs are really cheap. Highly recommended!

This is a hardworking and very organised timber yard with additional showroom of handmade items. I’ve purchased shorter lengths of 3x2 and made a landing enclosure, through to 4x2 to create floor to ceiling shelves at the back of the garage. I’ve also purchased scaffold boards to make two low running coffee tables and sheet ply for flooring in the loft and the frame of an island type bar in the rear room beside the kitchen.
If you like working with timber and have some imagination this yard has a fantastic selection, very reasonable prices and you can pick up some cool, unique pieces in the timber shed.
The staff who work outside are constantly ripping and de-nailing timbers from all types of buildings. I’m actually heading there tomorrow for some timbers to create a door. Recommend a visit and you may be as impressed as I was by the order of this venture and the fantastic selection - oh, and it’s also a charity so any items purchased support employment in this region.

I collected a piece of furniture yesterday from the wood shed. I'd asked them to put two small pieces of scaffold board on top of my old sewing machine base. It looked like a piece had been chiselled out with glue in it. I wanted a rustic look and understand wood is natural. However I just felt that as they were all pieces a better piece could of been used. I rang to tell them this as at nearly 90.00 pounds, lot of money I was spoken to in a very condescending manner and hostility. I don't recommend them, very expensive and I honestly didn't expect to spoken to in such a patronising way. Extremely disappointed

Visited this site for the first time today! Was welcomed by Rae, and given all the information we needed and more. So lucky to have something like this on my doorstep! Will definitely be returning to pick up some fantastic reclaimed wood in the near future.

Gotta check this place out if you are in the area. Some real bargains and lovely staff to help you find them
