Always a friendly welcome when you walk in. Shop looks smart and is well laid out. I love grabbing a fashions bargain!
Donating goods is easy too with the shop having the area on Priory Street to pull your car into. Signing up for Gift Aid also helps Nightingales boost their income. The Hospice on Chester Road is so well thought of in the Wrexham community.
Keep up the outstanding work ❤️

Always a great selection of furniture in great condition, as well as typical other fare such as DVDs and clothes. The café upstairs is fantastic, ran by friendly volunteers and serving quality food.

Very disappointed with this charity shop. I was going to give a one star review but they saved themselves at the last minute. I've been looking for a character chair for a newly renovated dining room. Found a bargain leather club chair here that was reduced. It needs some work but it fitted the brief so I was happy.
Then the rub!!! The delivery charge which took the shine off the experience. I know how charity shops work. Stock is donated, most staff are volunteers. I was happy to pay £50 for the chair but £35 to deliver it was a bit steep. They weren't even open to haggling or giving an OAP reduction. Then the excuses. They use an outside firm. Saves on costs (really at those prices!), it's the minimum charge etc. Then the best one! Using an outside firm means no staff administration or HR issues. Not very charitable.
So reluctantly I paid the £35 delivery charge as the chair wasn't going in the car.
But it gets better. Fixed a convenient delivery date only for this so called professional delivery firm to message 3 hours prior at 1pm to cancel because of staff sickness. A pathetic and lame excuse and I believe a lie. I wasn't happy as my day was already wasted so I rang the shop to express my dissatisfaction only to get more lame excuses. Thankfully a supervisor stepped in and organised delivery within the hour. Well saved.
But for a charity with little overheads, free stock, free staff, reduced rates and a peppercorn rent, your business practices are very sharp and unethical. Trading behind your hospice charity facade may fool most but not all.

If you are on a budget and need to furnish your home this shop is the place to go, you can get anything from sofas to shoes, chairs, dining table and chairs, bedding, curtains, electrical, all types of clothes, I was amazed at the amount of items I could buy and do cheap. The staff couldn't do enough, they were all very helpful and very nice, nothing was to much trouble. The food in the cafe upstairs was lovely, and the staff in the cafe was all lovely, I will certainly be going back

Raising money for a wonderful cause is certainly a reason to shop in this store.
I purchased a beautiful chair many years ago and we still have it now, at the time I was informed that the funds would go to nightingale hospice and knowing this inspired me to make the purchase there and then.
Amazing work

The store has new and used products. A wide selection of items, the furniture was clean and of good quality and the fashions department was amazing with soo much choice. Such a large store, cannot believe its a store that's supported by volunteers. The workload must be extreme. Lovely friendly people and always helpful.

We have been a long time supporter of this Charity and today unfortunately my wife wanted to use the toilet and was told by the Guy at the Cafe that if she's not buying a cup of tea she can't have the key to the toilet. How charitable is that. We shall support the other worthy charities close by in future
