Rubbish, only given 1 star as zero is not available. Ordered new bins on 5th August, agreed a delivery date of 15th August, no delivery, phoned to be told “ someone has retired “ then phoned on 26th to be told, it will be 10 working days from today.
Why agree on the 15th and then take over 6 weeks to deliver a bin. What do you want us to do with our rubbish, take it to the tip is the reply, why pay council tax for waste collection

Terrible experience with the bin men on multiple occasions. The first time they refused to take our burgundy bin due to it being contaminated with a sealed baby nappy, which I understand and removed it and they were fair and returned within the hour to collect it again. However, the past 2 bin collections, they have refused to take it for absolutely no reason, left no note, nothing. Called the council today, and they said they missed the bin. When I’ve got them on camera, walking up to the bin, opening the lid, taking a can out, shaking it about, and putting it back in and shutting the lid. So they obviously knew the bin was there and needed to be taken out. I’ve now been told they will be back to collect within the next 5 working days and I’ve got to put any further recycling in a clear bin bag beside the burgundy bin, in front of our house. This is going to look extremely messy and is most likely going to be ripped to shreds by animals and make the street look a complete mess.

I’ve worked at all my life but in a situation currently as a,
Stay at home parent have of multiple children.
Carer for disabled family member. So cannot work.
My UC payment has gone down and yet Council think it’s ok to increase my council
tax by nearly £400 days before Christmas.
I bet the top people at the council got a nice bonus tho this calendar year tho.
For doing what, probably nothing. It’s a disgrace.
Edit : Turns out even tho I got this bill days before Christmas, however fortnight into January I’m now getting a refund of a good part of that money because I’m in credit.
So I had to minimise everything over Christmas because of this bill, I’m now being told Im being refunded a good part of that money. Absolutely disgusting that the council can take money without even working out properly.
To top it off, I have to wait 10 days for my refund.
What absolutely idiots that work here.

Just got my new council tax payment details through the post , wouldn't it be helpful if at the same time they would put bin collection dates in the same envelope. Not all people can check online !

Yet again, another example of Northeast Derbyshire district council. Wasting public money, Employing staff.
What would struggle making a cup of tea, no doubt not fit for purpose? Raise 3 formal complaints, With the head of customer services rachel poe, then told 3 weeks later that we're not allowed to take formal complaints over the phone. Which is a deliberate and direct lie.
But apparently no one knows who sent the return emails saying this, Apparently it's is mister or Mrs nobody again! Is it just our council, or is it all councils? What's got no accountability? For formal complaints or wasting public money or employed staff. What's not fit for purpose?
