Easy to get to, well laid out, and the staff on duty when I visited were kind and helpful. A big improvement on the old recycling centre even if it is a bit further away.

As a bonus, afterwards I found the ideal artificial Christmas tree in the re-use shop. I'm really pleased I could get one second hand and the member of staff in the shop was really friendly too.

Staff unhelpful and lazy is an understatement! They are after your money and to charge you for every single sit that you bring in.
I've been here a few times, and almost every single time I've left with a screws, nails, or god know what else that damages my tyres. They should clean these bays and areas, if not a few times a day, at least daily. Last time I picked up myself in front of our car 4-5 screws and not even looking too hard.
I am sure I'm not the only person who damage their tyres on this recycling centre, whoever is the manager have to do something about!

We used the recycling centre yesterday for the first time, yes it's easy to get to, but for us personally there needs to be numbered parking bays with some sort of notification when a parking bay is free as cars were waiting at the top not knowing spaces were available further down as they couldn't see, hence making the queuing and waiting longer than needed to be. Staff friendly and helpful.

It is much further than the previous tip I used (which has closed down). The new shorter opening hours do nothing to prevent flytipping and also increase congestion when it IS open. The metal steps up to the containers are very slippery when wet, and if you drop your car keys you've had it as they would fall through the grill. Also, if disposing garden waste you have to lift heavy bins up very high to reach the skip. The last time I was there, I struggled to do this and asked one of the staff for assistance. All he replied was 'No' before walking off. I thought he was joking but he evidently wasn't. In fact a young gentleman who had just got in his car to drive off was not impressed either. He promptly got out again to help me saying 'If HE won't help you I will'. Not impressed.
