Quality of breakfast was subpar.. Avocado on Sourdough doesn't have a sourdough bread..it's a single slice of a supermarket seeded bread. The beacon rash is also abysmal, scrambled eggs are dry and over cooked.. Cafe has good ambience and a relaxing environment..shame that the food is disappointing.. staff are good .. just come here for the coffee..!!

Excellent selection of items, plants, garden decor, pets and more. Staff are always friendly and ready to help and they often reduce plants to clear for a big discount.

Well done Notcutts Staines restaurant! It’s not bad at all. Would totally recommend if you’re after some lunch and light eats. Plenty of space although lunch time is packed! Come around 2pm you’ll get a seat especially if it’s a weekend or Mondays and Fridays when it seems to be super busy. After 3 you get lots of mums with kids.

Today visiting notcutts restaurant extremely disappointed with the cleanliness of the service counter needed a good clean spilt coffee grounds, teastains on counter, chipped cups and teapot lids. Told to get your own tray to carry drinks. The food was hot and well cooked. Just very dissatisfied with the cleanliness!!!

Came here for lunch this afternoon with a friend. The chicken flatbread (with literally a teaspoon of Greek dressing) was dry and most tricky to cut, I thought my fork was going to snap in half! Our coffees were nice but the biscoff tiffin cake was also impossible to make a dent in, more of it ended up on the floor than in my mouth. The cherry on the cake, however, was a £5.26 (20%) service charge secretly being added, before the food had even arrived!

When my friend bought something in the garden centre, our cashier literally grunted at us, what
ever happened to saying “hello, how are you today?” She also seemed to be chewing a sweet of some sort, most unprofessional.

The first two times I visited here with my partner were exceptional. The last time we visited we were given a membership card by a very kind lady on tills, so visited again today. When we reached the tills to pay today (around 10-10:30) the cashier was quite rude. I greeted her by asking how she was, to which she ignored me. I’m not sure if she had an attitude with us because we are younger women but she clearly had no issue with the older visitors. The way she treated us and acted with us was a big contrast to the two older women she served before - no greeting, no small talk (like they usually do), just a weirdly toned ‘wonderful’ when we paid. It left a bad impression on us and I can only assume we were treated the way we were because of our age or sexuality.

Poor service. Cold chips. Burnt fish batter. Peas nice and hot. Attitude stinks. Had tea but milk curdled it. I took it back to get a fresh cup and get fresh milk but the waitress blamed the sugar and begrudgingly changed the milk.

Big shout out to Notcutts Staines for excellent customer service. Had to take something back and get a refund and had forgotten my receipt so to save me going home and back again the Manager said he would look it up to make my life easy. Great people who work there...that's the way to do it!!
