Modern recycling centre. Easy to park next to each bay. Everything clearly laid out and staff on hand to assist. Always very clean. Can get busy at peak times, especially around the garden waste section but queues move very quickly.

Previous review mentions a rude member of staff I encountered him today , usually staff are kind and helpful, this man was rude, patronising and very unhelpful. Not a good ambassador for the county council. He wears a cap had white hair and moustache and older !

Horrible & rude staff member (the middle aged man with cap & moustache). We went to throw garden waste, mainly soil and went to the garden waste one. As we were throwing it away, he came up to us and shouted “no stones! Can’t you read?!?!”
Myself and my mum apologised like 10 times, and he continued being rude & patronising, muttering under his breath.
He didn’t tell us where we should actually be throwing the soil (it had a small amount of little stones in it), so we drove back around trying to figure out where to throw our bags of mainly soil. Also, if you’re reading this, WE CAN READ - your garden waste bin says ❌BRICKS - and we definitely weren’t throwing bricks!!!!

The staff here are so nice and helpful always cracking a joke, but just overall happy to help in any way they can. The site is very easily accessible with plenty of room for many cars to unload at once, everything is labelled and the gent at the gateway tells you every numbered section you'll need for the waste you have, couldn't be happier with this place.

Just visited , and I must say the man in the kiosk is absolutely charming. He’s polite and efficient. Had no trouble at all. Plus the tip is very clean and tidy.

The appointment system is working well. Staff were helpful, refuse drop-off points were clearly marked. Managers might encourage staff to smile with customers. A smile is so important! Keep up the good work!
